Dreadful in Loss to Bucks...

3 in a row - It has more than begun!

The collapse is all but complete.

And if you watched the game? We looked like a lottery team.

I'd like to apologize for my comments earlier today on Schmitz's column about keys to the game...Bogans guarding Redd. I said it wasn't a contest. That Redd would get 25 to 30 on Bogans. I'm sorry because he got 27..MuuuuWAAHahahahaha.

The problem is the team thinks it can just outscore opponents and is playing horrible defense. When our offense stagnates we have no defense to keep us in games. We gave up way too many uncontested layups in the Pacers game.

Here is what I notice, In their winning games they where running and shooting quickly, They left that Game and know they become a set up team with poor passing and movement of the ball.
They have to go back to that run and shoot game. why they stop that style is beyond me.
We really have a big problem at point also..........

Something has happened to the Magic's style of play. When they were winning they looked so comfortable and confident. All of a sudden now they look very uncomfortable and confused. Has Van Gundy done something to mess up the team's natural chemistry? It was the same last year with Brian Hill. After a great start the game plan changed and everything went downhill. The players are just not buying into Van Gundy's game plan now for whatever reason. If there's one thing that's been consistent about the Magic, it's that nobody can ever figure them out. There's got to be reasons for the current slide, but it's a crazy combination of other teram's adjustments and either the Magic's lack of, or too many corrections. whatever it is the team no longer embraces Van Gundy's game plan, or no longer trusts his judgment.

I am afraid this is the middle of what will eventually be a 7 game losing streak. By the halfway point the Magic will be 22-19. When the season ends they will be 42-40. They will make the playoffs barely, and get knocked out in the first round.
Now having said all of that, before everyone starts jumping down my throat about being negative, I am merely pointing out that the same thing happened last year. So what is so much better to think the same thing won't happen again ? It's basically the same team with a different coach. You can see it in the players faces. And just imagine if this is happening now with just a littled added pressure..what will it be like when the pressure is really on in the playoffs ?
Dwight Howard has to be more physical when someone tries to take a swipe at him or tries to grab him. Start swinging those elbows around. Nothing like getting hit in the face with an elbow. That will put an end to that.
The Magic can be a very good team if they protect the ball, shoot free throws better, and play with more intensity and focus..especially on defense.
Right now unless things change I am afraid it will be last year all over again.

I THINK THE BIGGEST PROBLEM I SEE IS THE POINT GUARD PLAY. JAMEER CANNOT RUN A DAMN OFFENSE TO SAVE HIS A**.
HE IS PLAYING TERRIBLE. THERE IS SOME TRUTH THAT MAGIC ARE PLAYING SLOWER.SOMETHING MUST BE DONE QUICKLY! ALL THE SUDDEN NO ONE CAN HIT A SHOT!

Laughter is good for the soul. This train wreck has been brewing for some time. Once again the offense looks like a fire drill over at special ed. I only watch these clowns because of Redick. If "coach of the year" isn't going to play him I'll just catch the Warriors confusing people. I can only say that you say it best when you say. BWAHAHAH!!!. Best comedy of the year.

The Magic are too inconsistent the coach, the pg, the role players nobody shows up every game but Dwight. Nobody understands that if your shot is off(Lewis, Nelson hell Magic team) contribute in another way rathers rebounding, defense, passing do something else besides miss every shot.Lewis you play PF for us get a rebound you are 6'10 I have been writing for years the Magic our to soft now we are trying to play this west coast run and gun but we only have too shooters and an inside man Nelson lost his heart somewhere Bogans is a bench players Dwight is getting frustrated Magic pull it together.(just venting)

is it just me or are the Magic taking waaaay too many jump shots, They were one of the hottest team from beyond the arc, and now one of the coldest. Regrdless this team has shown much improvemnt, and the post season is what really matters. Keep your heads up, lets go Magic!

This game was the worse one. It would have been a blowout if not for the flurry of 3 pointers in the 3rd. We need anybody that speeds the game up and doesn't turn it over at the point. Start Dooling, start Arroyo, I don't care. I'm sick of Nelson. And if you look only at the stat sheet, he still got 7 Assists, although 6 To, but 7 assists are good for a point. However the stats don't tell you that some of those assists where made on garbage passes. How many times this game, did the shooter had to reach long for the ball, even if he was set for the shot so he can catch it?
Of course, our shooters miss if they always have to chase the pass to have it.
And the defense. That is on everyone. I mean, looking at the game, you think that Milwaukee shoot rather bad also, and it's true for jump-shots, but they got so many layups and dunks that they percentage is 50 %! Orlando didn't commit a foul in the second half until mid 4th quarter. That means they didn't contest anything! I think Van gundy should shake the lineup, I'm glad he's thinking that way, if they come lethargic against the Bobcasts, something must be done. C'mon we lost to a lottery team that had 21 TO!

You are an absolute idiot. Everything he said is true. Your comment is pointless and insulting. Tell us oh great guru, what do you think is wrong with the Magic to show such a complete turnaround?

Nothing new here, same ol' Magic.

Come out of the gates with a fast start in November and by December they fade because of settling for poor shot selection, not attacking opposing defenses properly and by playing lazy defense that a senior citizens group could score 100 on.

How many years now have they done this? The team seems to be aptly named for their annual December disappearing act.

Note to the Magic: it's an 82 game season, not 20!

Jim from Oveido has it right: the Magic will finish 42-40 and barely make the playoffs - just like nearly every year since 1996.
