Good. Why should everyone else on the plane have to wait for this kind of thing? If you can't keep your kids in check, don't fly with them. Seems simple enough

Good. Babies on planes are worse than snakes on planes.

Parents, learn to control your little goobers or stay off public transportation. Nobody has to be delayed or miss a connecting flight because of your lack of parenting skills.

That girl looks like she has a little attitude, lol. She's going to be trouble in the future if those parents don't get a grip.

Good for the airline. I bet mom and thought it was cute and wanted everyone else to think so as well. Noone wants to listen to a screaming brat on an airplane or anywhere else for that matter. I had to endure a couple and their 4 little brats this past Saturday. The kids were screaming, yelling, throwing food and silverware all over the place and mom and dad just sat there grinning. I hope they never are allowed to get back on a plane. If they are that stupid and insensitive they deserve it.

It's obvious that the little girl wears the pants in this family. 2 adults could not control a 2 year old and then blames the airlines for their inabilities to be parents, that's pathetic.

ok I had a post about an hour on this and it has been removed. Good for the airline. Noone wants to be bothered on an airplane or anywhere else for that matter by a screaming bratty child while mom and dad sit there grinning like 2 idiots about how cute little johnny is. I had my lunch ruined this past saturday by a couple and their 4 brats who did nothing but scream, throw food and silverware all over the place. Mom and dad sat there grinning the entire time and never bothered to say a word. People were getting up and leaving. Management should have done what the airline did and threw them out. Leave your kids at home the rest of us dont want to hear them.

I can sympathize that they were in a tough spot, but good grief... They had at least 15 minutes to cajole the child (or discipline her?) into her seat before they were asked to disembark. What did they expect to happen? Everyone else (and the folks on the other end of the flight waiting to board to somewhere else) to just wait it out ? How rude to expect that. If you travel with a child, you had better be prepared to deal with this sort of situation... or to pay for it (What I mean by that is back-up transportation or buying another set of tickets for another flight). I don't think the airlines should be giving them free flights to anywhere (except maybe to have bumped them to their next flight to try it again). If your 3 yr old is SO UPSET that you cannot in good conscience require her to get in her seat, then by golly, you need to be taking her off the flight on your OWN! Ridiculous... just ridiculous...

Exactly how long should it take to get a child to sit down and shut up? Seems to me it only took my Mom about 30 seconds. Long enough to shoot me that look of "do it now, or you'll be paying with a stinging butt later."
Good for the airline. Parents that can't or won't discipline their children should not be allowed to inconvenience the rest of us.

Another example of parents not being parents. What a brat! Her parents are to blame for her acting the way she did. The airlines did the right thing by making them get off and they shouldn't have given them free round trip tickets!

I'm not going to bash the parents for not being able to control the child. But I will bash them for thinking that getting removed was out of line. Regardless of what "chance" you did or did not have to calm her down, if she's delaying the flight, she's disrupting all the other passengers, their schedules, the schedules of everyone on the next flight this plane will run, gate coordination, etc, etc....

They should have left gracefully and appologized for the delay that was caused.

this sounds very much like the Naomi Campbell uproar. This little horror will grow up to be another like her.

PS - BA have BANNED Naomi from flying with them any more. Good for them.

It shouldnt of taken any time for those parents to have the child in her seat..
Crying or not.. Should of been put in her seat by her parents and told to stay there..
Console her during the flight.. Not hold up every one else because you cant be the "parent".
Im so tired of hearing about this, And being bothered by it in REstraunts and on Planes...

Why didn't the parents just pick her up and put her in the seat? I am NOT advocating for any type of physical abuse, but I have a 3 year old and I know how it goes with these little dictators! Sometimes you just have to pick them up and put them where you want them to be.
Geez, she probably weighs less than 35lbs.!

And for all of you on here saying that we should keep our children off of public transportation, etc. unless they are perfectly behaved :
Were you a perfect child that never made any kind of fuss in public?
