Your welcome... I have a heart for kids and what happens to them... It breaks my heart for these kids...
Another big thank you Chief, every child deserves a safe, loving home. Stories like this are heartbreaking. It was pointed out to me over the weekend that this particular "disappearance" is a bit tougher (if there is such) because Zahara has been battling cancer for a couple of years, already costing her a leg and hearing. How anyone can hurt a child is beyond me, but to hurt a child who has endured so much and lost so much seems even more heartless.

So very true Uno.. I follow as many stories of children that I can.. I belong to an organization that fights pedophiles online, trying to keep our children safe.. It is a battle that will be fought for a very long time to come...

Friends: Missing Zahra Baker was happy in Australia

"Adam Baker married Elisa in Baker's parents' backyard in July 2008. In November, they moved to North Carolina. The family was less than thrilled, especially because Zahra's medical treatments were free in Australia. "Adam was on his own for eight years with Zahra before he met (Elisa) and I think he was lonely and I think that was his biggest downfall, really," Wright said."

Chief, I would like to hear more about that organization. I have a friend IRL who has been doing that herself for years. While visiting her one time she said, "come watch this". Not telling me what she was doing, she logged onto to some "tween" websites, typed in some "interesting comments" and said... "here they come". Sure enough, it didn't take long for some adults trolling for trouble responded. I had no idea just how much of this was going on. And that was 14-15 years ago!!!

From her pictures and accounts from those who knew or met her, she has a beautiful smile and wonderful outlook on life. This is so heartbreaking!

Go to http://www.perverted-justice.com/ ... It will tell you all about what we do and how many convictions we have so far, and that there are still many more going through the court system...I've been with them since 1996 and I enjoy what I do, and hopefully at some time later, I will do more...Right now I am a forum buddy... And a little secret. INF doesn't like our organization though she knows nothing about it...lol...

There isn't any...strange.. and I find it strange that he thinks it is ok for a child to hang in her room and only emerging when she wants something...that speaks to me of red flags all over the place.

I couldn't listen to it. I just read the transcript. I can barely read about it, it makes me sick to think of what the little honey went through.

Thanks for the link Chief! It is good to know that there are organizations working to protect our children. There is so much that we can do to help make this a safer world for our children, but with "our busy lives", too much that should be done, isn't done.

Team Adam joins search for Zahra Baker

CALDWELL COUNTY, N.C.– A specialized team of experts has joined the search for Zahra Baker.

The 10-year-old cancer survivor was reported missing from Hickory on Oct. 9.

Right now search crews, including experts from Team Adam, are searching a landfill in Caldwell County for new clues into her disappearance. Police say they are not searching for Zahra’s body, but instead for evidence.

Team Adam is named for the murdered son of John Walsh, the host of America’s Most Wanted. The group is comprised of retired law-enforcement officials with years of experience.

Team Adam has assisted in more than 300 cases involving missing children in 43 states.

The team provides technical assistance, search and rescue help and computer forensics for law enforcement officials. The group is also able to connect local police with a national network of resources.

Wow, this little child has been at the hands of these monsters. Her father is the number one monster the step mother is the number two monster.

Ok, I will not judge, but, they don't care. This little girl was not kidnapped, a seven year old can figure that out!

These people are not parents, it's terrible, another child abused and killed in America.

When I see this absolutely beautiful child, I just want to cry, I can't contain myself, it's awful and terrible. Who? What kind of people? Who do these things to a child?

When things settle down, and I hope and pray this child is found ( her body) that she has a proper burial. I hope the monsters Her Father and her step mom get the electric chair, they killed this child, it's so obvious.

This is a child abuse case!

I think Zahara was killed some time ago, not the night of the fire.
