I'll send you some in a package this winter LOL!
...lol...no thanks...you know another big difference?..Cars just don't rust down here....no salt on the roads, and no potholes at all....your paint may fade, from all the sun and i have a theory that tires wear a bit faster, due to the seashell partial makeup of the asphalt.......suspension parts last forever....those that live, directly on the beach, have many more problems....

You are making me nostalgic for leather seats and steering wheels the temperature of molten lead.

If you move here, you'll have them any time you have to leave your vehicle outside for a long period. I've also had the glue melt off the rear-view mirror and found it laying on the seat when I went out @ the end of the day. My car is garaged @ home, but sits in the hot sun all day here at work. For that reason I do NOT have leather seats, but there's not much that can be done about the steering wheel.

I've been so desperate with the hot steering wheel, I've
tried blowing on it like a hot cup of coffee...

Yeah, i grew tired of leather and vinyl interiors long ago...it's been all cloth, since then...also, my cars had window tint for years....but now, it's always garaged, so this is the first one, not tinted, in a long time.....I do, only buy Chevron gas, though....

Years ago, one of my kids' plastic toys melted inside a car that was in the FL sun all day. Weird...

We don't have the seashells in the asphalt here and it's great not having a car turn into a rust bucket. Only thing that ruin the paint on this side, are lovebugs.

We headed to Michigan once and neglected to wash some lovebugs off....don't you know, they ate right threw the paint, before we got back home, and finally cleaned them off.....I can remember yoears ago, going to Sanibel...across Alligator alley and they had cleanup stations, when you got on the other side...lol...

I think you do have asphalt like that, since this whole state was underwater at one time....the pieces are so small, they don't look like seashells, you just don't see them, but they act like baby cheese graters on tires.....

Thanks, Tavares, FL.

I thought you were white. I should have known you were fronting. You don't want anyone to know where you live, but you don't hide your location.

I love where we are. It's close to so many things. We do the "on a tankfull" whenever we can. I'd love to go St. Augustine again. Now there, we found a great restaurant that served awesome Cubans and Flan. Yummy.
You and your muffin-topped friend must have been twins separated at birth. She did say she was adopted. Hmm.

you do realize that the sandwich alone is around 800 calories?

http://www.fitday.com/webfit/nutrition/All_Fo...

When you add your fries, mac and cheese plus coleslaw, it will make the calories go off the charts.
Then add the flan Wacki Wheechi ordered for you and your blood sugar will be 400.

Or is it your cholesterol/triglycerides that both come in at 400?

Isn't 200 the upper limit for cholesterol and 150 for triglycerides?
Being nurses, you should know this.

You should consider moving to a town that has a Orlando and Jacksonville.

Gainesville has a lot to offer. Museums, poetry readings, plays, there is always something to do. Saturday they had a tea for Kate and her baby. All the gifts were donated to a great charity.

Naples and Ft Myers are both very nice IMO.

You can contact The Chamber of Commerce in any place you consider and get information about taxes, cost of living, etc.

Good luck on your new venture.

Guess they are still sore about people thinking that a couple of women who gave birth to 5 women might have jelly bellies. Watch it wiggle. See it jiggle. Lighten up. You're getting those 11's on your foreheads and may need botox.\Here's a hint: I don't take these message boards seriously.
