Yep Karma, I think we're in for a long winter, especially you guys up north. Yuck, I like snow but not when it stays on the ground for a spell and never ice. We have alot of black ice. You'll be driving along roads fine then bam, your car's rear end starts that fishtailing crap. Scares the begeebers out of me.
Well, you guys have a great day. I've got to go and try to teach my mom how to use her ipad. Oh, goodness it'll be a hoot.
Oh, Eye,
Did you get your oven fixed? I called a repairman once to fix mine, he pulled it out and only charged me thirty five dollars to plug the thing back up. Boy, the look he gave me. Live and learn.
Vic, the range was around 12 yrs old and had outlived its' life span according to todays' standards for the more recent appliance longevity projections. The oven cleaner had already stopped working three yrs ago so I knew it was a matter of time before it went; so when it blew I ordered a new one. It took a week for Home Depot to deliver it but they finally did this past Monday along with a new pigtail cord. We had to wait a week with no stove.

Also Vic, I wanted to mention; when you clear out the salt, leave it along the baseboards and the floor where it meets against the baseboards, especially along carpeted areas. Other baseboard areas too, also under cushions and crevices where the upholstering is joined. No one will pay any attention to it being there. The thing is, that fleas got in those little dark hidden areas and laid eggs there. When those eggs hatch,(even tho we don't know exactly when this cycle starts); they start to lay more eggs and the cycle repeats itself. It's been a year and a half now, but I still have some salt down along the walls and these other hidden areas. There's not much worse than a flea infestation and you want to be SURE it never repeats itself. Right? Just do it. No point in even taking a chance on the nasty little b'stards.

Hello Anne,
Glad you are going to get your Christmas dishes out and hang your wreath. Yep, even that will make things more cheery. I just know it. Sorry to hear about your computer problems. Hope your son gets what ya need so you can be back up and runnin. I bet your son loves having you to talk to about his "love gone wrong" stories. Hope all is well with your g/d too.
Just like Vic said, you have had a very long hard year, I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Maybe '14 will be better for you!!
Hey Karma, thanks for the little push but as you've read above I was under the weather for a coupla days and didn't do none uv it. Definitely gonna get on the ball today though.

I was a little taken aback that my son talked to me so much about his love gone wrong messy ex g/fs situations; I don't think he left out much either. Anywayz, he seems to have gotten it all out of his system for now; only one g/f he fired off some nasty emails too after he thought more about all 'she did to him', so maybe that'll be the end of it. At least now he seems to appreciate more the peace he has at home that he didn't have before. He sure put up with a lotta lotta shyt (way more than I ever would have) trying to make a life on his own.

Yes, it was a bad year hon, but at least I always kept my peace about me and didn't let it ruffle me. After all, what can we do? Not much. But it could have been so much worse, I could have not made it another year. Still, I'm plugging along so that makes it a good year!~

Vic, Karma & all; NO, I did not get the computer problems straightened out. My son went shopping yesterday but had so much grocery shopping & etc to do that he completely forgot about getting the new plug for the new monitor. For the moment this old monitor is working but I know it's only a matter of time before it starts to zoom then I can't do much but try to read around little windows that pop up and block it. So much for that..... for now. He'll be making another trip soon so it will just have to wait.

King George; I've been sick about it, ever since I clicked on that link about the many and varied LE agencies in this country and the filthy, corrupt lives they lead. It's so disappointing, and sickening, that those who are supposed to be protecting us, and particularly our little ones, are themselves abusing them and us. NOW we know why so little is done for justice for our helpless babies in this country. NOW we know that it doesn't matter what we try to do, what we say, or how much we care for these babes; our own LE agencies, court systems, governmental agencies and even counselors themselves don't care while they do the very same things! I tell ya, I'm at a loss for words.

Eye,

I'm so glad your feeling better and can enjoy your GD's birthday and Christmas with your loved ones. You so deserve many, many more. Oh, what a sweet GD. Bless her heart, she didn't want you to worry and tire yourself out on her account. I know that's what put zip in your step and gave you the Christmas Spirit.xoxoxo

Yes I will closely follow your advise with the salt. It hasn't been too bad and when it did, I just went down to the kids house. Glad you got a new stove. The boys' stove hasn't worked for several years. Youngest GS wanted to bake and decorate Christmas cookies at his house. We baked them six at a time, after the third batch he got full and deserted me but it was fun.LOL

Well, after trying to teach Mom about ipad and putting all her contacts in she wanted the iphone so by the time I left her house I was ready to get 2 cans and a long string for my phone needs.LOL

That Loucakis guy was a child pornographer. Chuck Ingrams the RSO that also was a bailsbondsman, it took seven years before he was finally sentenced. He is in a Georgia prison now.
Chuck was Snodgrass's bailbondsman and he never had to post any collaterial. Chuck was the go to guy for the sex offenders in that county.
Chuck had been a police officer there but had been fired for his sicko acts and Art Harris reported that he had friends in high places.

Sounds like fun, Vic. Is your son going to get a new oven or does he plan to wait until the house liquidation matter is resolved? Maybe his next home might already have a range.

Years ago, my hubby used to keep a toaster oven in the trunk of his car for when he traveled around the country and stayed in motels that didn't have microwaves or kitchenettes. He ate most of his meals out or would pick up carry-outs, but sometimes just wanted to bake something he had picked up frozen, etc. He flew a lot on his travels and sometimes used car rentals but always had a supply of handy items in the trunk of his car just in case he might need them. Would you believe, I kept that toaster oven; it's packed up somewhere out in the garage, have never even tried it to see if it still works. It's surprising how good some of the older appliances were compared to today's newer appliances, even the small ones. I would imagine the danged thing still works!

I wanted to ask you Vic, but didn't want to pry; how did it work out for your son when he had to go to court in the support matter on a Wednesday, a few weeks ago? I hope it went to his satisfaction, but if it didn't, I understand if you don't want to go into it.

Glad to hear your mother likes her new phone gadget! My son had a new (expensive) smart phone and hated it because it did not have good reception and dropped calls. He dumped it and went back to his other more recent phone. I hope it works out better for your mom.

Vic & KG; there's NO WAY I'm ever gonna believe that there wasn't child porn in Ron's MH and that he and his patsy LE good ole buddies re deeply involved. There HAD to be something very horrible going on there that local LE was involved in themselves. There was too much they either directly concealed, lied about or helped to concea,l and nothing else makes sense.

I could spend the entire day outlining the evidence and witnesses they ignored and the many lies they told while helping RC cover up his dirt. It HAD to be that they TOO were involved, and it HAD to be something far worse than concealing drugs. This only leaves child porn, even including the possibility that a few mysterious murders might have happened along the way. I ALSO believe that there are several higher ups involved, some that are not even located in Putnam County. When you look at the big picture, nothing else makes sense.

What makes me sick is that Nancy Grace HELPED them cover it up. Now here is a woman, a former prosecutor, who has twin toddlers in her fifties after being barren her entire earlier life, and this low-life b'tch sat there on national tv and HELPED Sheriff Hardy, RC, repulsive white whale Annette the matriarch of them all, and saintly mother skank who probably only washes her twat once a week; pin it all on Misty; hounding, accusing and blaming a little just-turned 17 yr old girl AND Haleigh's bio mom who wasn't even there that night and whose OWN mother had reported Haleighs' abuse that went ignored;

while Nancy sat there without batting an eye, reveled in it, without ever ONCE bringing it to the surface that Ron had a previous HORRENDOUS criminal record including beating and abusing women and in FACT was a sex pervert himself using Misty at 15,16 yrs old, which ALL that she swept under the rug; AND ignored it that sweet Haleigh had been reputed to have been sexually molested and abused.. WHILE ignoring that the initial call to 911 reporting Haleigh missing was made at 2:13 a.m. and NOT at 3:27 a.m. and every other pertinent evidence of a VAST cover up in Haleighs' disappearance.

Nancy talks about the devil dancing on some graves, I wonder who she thinks is gonna be dancing on HER grave?

Eye,

Court was cancelled due to something, judge had to play golf, who knows. Son had to go on the defensive and his lawyer sent her a revised settlement agreement: sell everything slit equally, and she pay child support. She is dragging her feet, told son she was getting a new lawyer.
She got mad at her lawyer cause the last time they met on settlement that she agreed to but backed out, good thing she did, her lawyer was on my son's side. She blamed me for brainwashing the children against her. POS. I called her cause oldest gs wanted her to be at school for a parent lunch. SHe and her mother went and proceeded to check him out of school at eleven so he could spend time with her mother. You know how school's are now about tardies, absents, even if you have a doctor's excuse, they don't like it.
She'll stretch it till one year is almost up until then she will poke and prode at me, hoping I'll go loco on her sorry azz but that ain't going to happen. Stupid biotch.

You and I both know Nancy is never going to admit she made a mistake. I cann't stand to even see her face. Yuck. I don't like Jane either. Most people that watch her show no nothing about cases but what comes out of her mouth and we all know that's more hot air than Bombshell reports.
She needed a hero so bad because of the Anthony's that she latched on to RC like he was Superdad. Most of the reporting on Haleigh's case was from folks looking to better themselves it was never about Haleigh. All involved from LE to family to Croslins, nobody had clean hands. SAD RIP Haliegh

My statement was a bit strong Vic, and I probably shouldn't have said it but that's what I was thinking at the time. My apologies to anyone who was offended. I'm sorry, but I can only think in terms of this skank smelling to the high heavens and while prancing in her w'hore high heels only makes herself more obvious.

Vic, I'm concerned about Sami. Her hubby is so young to have this heart condition, and while I feel that the families on both sides do everything they can to help them, whatever that may be; also, that her hubby does everything he can to help out, but I also feel that Sami has her hands full in every way, now being the one adult responsible for everything that goes on in their home, while she keeps up the appearance for her children that all is well as she goes on making everything look and feel normal for them.

She is carrying a huge responsibility. My heart goes out to her. It was an awful time for them to lose their dog in such a dastardly way. It couldn't have come at a worse time. This neighbor behind them is going to pay hard for what he did to them and the dog. Thinking of you Sami; xx00xx

You don't need to apologize to anyone. What you posted was right and your way with words makes my day.

I know and feel the same as you about our dear Sami. I pray that the New Year will bring her family the best of health, happiness and peace.

I'll never understand what makes folks do the mean and heartless things they do,. Self gratification, total lack of empathy but they usually end up alone. Sad

Vic, I am so angry, sitting here and reading for the last hour what has transpired in the light bulb industry. Did you know that as of Jan 1st the manufacturers won't be producing standard light bulbs any longer? We won't even be able to purchase them any longer as there are very few even left on the market? OMG! Here I sit with at least eight bulbs burned out in this house! I'd need a $1,000K credit limit on a new charge account just to be able to purchase light bulbs, which I ALSO can't afford? OMG, what have the f'kers done to us????

Hi All!

I've read some of your post, but not all. Yes, Annie made me lmbo again. Of course, your right on about NG, Sneaky, Granny & All, but your descriptions do make me laugh.

Thank you for your thoughts and wishes for me and my family. My husfband did go back into the hospital last wk. & he did have to have a bk amputation as he got another infection and there was too much bone exposed and there was a risk of him getting an infection in his bones and possible losing more of his leg or his life. Please, don't feel sorry for us as he is finally out of pain and came home after just four days in the hospital. They said he is superman and he gets around so well on his crutches as he's been on them for 8 mos. and he has a great attitude. Our kids are completely fine with everything as they now see their dad out of pain. My husband is doing very well.

We have all of our décor up and got the tree & had it decorated for him when he got home. We did leave some bulbs for him to put on.

It is snowing and it's very pretty. We're suppose to get around 6 inches. My children are excited as I am taking my two youngest to see Santa in a bit and then my son snowboarding.

I will try and read more of your post later. As far as appliances, it's a shame they sell us junk anymore. I finally got my dishwasher fixed yest. after 8 mos. & they ordered a part for my fridge. We've been using the one in our garage for the last month as we had the darn thing repaired several times and it kept breaking. I didn't have time to deal with it, but now all will be up and working.

Annie, Vic, Karma, KG & all, thanks again for your thoughts & wishes. I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and the Best New Year Ever! I know I'm so looking forward to putting 2013 behind us and bringing on a much better year "2014."

Love Always, Sami

Hon, you'd better get stock up on standard bulbs now. There will be a run on them when folks find out. Hubby brings home bulbs they're laying around the job sites.

The amount of trim that is going in houses now is ridiculous. It use to be a double car garage would hold wood for trimming whole house. Now, it may trim one room. THey are not trimming houses anymore they are building furniture. Everything is built in

Not sure what you mean by 'trim'- are you referring to baseboards, crown molding and such? Of course, kitchen cabinets have been built in now for years. My husband and I built a large timber frame home last year, but all of our wood is of course are in the beams and framework. We thought about having perhaps a china cabinet built it, but we couldn't fit that into our budget; 'built-in's are very expensive, regardless of what room in the house. We were lucky to have a wonderful local carpenter to build our kitchen cabinets and bathroom cabinets, and an Amish man to make the kitchen island however, and they both were quite reasonable.
