Lou Vales wrote: I have a story!! I have a story!!! TRUE--as Mr Baseball can attest--Everybody wondered why the Cubs traded Rafael Palmiero. Well, it turned out that Mr Viagra knew Mrs. Sandberg "very well" and Mr Sandberg made it very clear--He goes or I go. To this day I don't know what Mrs. Sandberg did. He went to Texas for Mitch "Wildthing" Williams. Cindy Sandberg screwed with so many ballplayers. Ryno left her after he caught her with his neighbor, Charles Barkley. Andre Dawson, was mad at the Cubs for trading Raphael, but Dawson did not know what was going on. If you met Cindy Sandberg, you would never know she was a wild party girl. She broke Ryno's heart.

Lou Vales wrote: Mr Baseball, I really doubt that Johnny Bench one. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I really have to ask again---How in Hades can anyone who has followed the Marlins ALL SEASON not be totally nuts over the con job pulled by Mr BS(Blown Save) Gregg??? Why aren't the Marlins followers on this site just bashing the crap out of him?? He blew nearly 27 percent of his save opportunities!!! That is unheard of, and nearly IMPOSSIBLE. AND how can you then not be totally nuts over Fredo(The Idiot Son) coming out and saying what a gutty thing it was to do, lie about an injury, impact your performance, blow numerous games--and he is Fredo's(The Idiot Son) HERO???? It's true, Bench is gay. One of the top five catchers in the game. Rose hates him so much. Marlins have many great pitchers in the minor leagues. What the Marlins need is hitters.

Mr Baseball, Since we are now SPEAKING---How do you know this stuff?? I consider myself something of an insider, but you make me look like a cub(no pun intended) reporter for the Lake Worth Journal?? Is this common knowledge that I have missed??

Lidge has blown 0!!!!!!!!!! Games.
Project just half of Gregg's total onto Lidge, and DON'T FORGET the BRUTAL Ward homer in the 9th, the Atlanta GAMES, Colorado GAMES--NOT!!! Game, the brutal Met losses in the 9th at Shea and Beltran's blast.
I understand the Mets have also blown games, BUT if Gregg has even a MEDIOCRE year the Marlins are the Wild Card.
YEARS from now, TRUE Marlins afficianados will recall Gregg with dismay, disgust and any other D words you can think of.

You can try to create a rivalry but the Cubs already have one with another charter team. The Marlins need to have their own rivalry with another expansion team like D.C.

Not sure I'll ever recover from July 4th in Denver. How does he have such a reputation as a "stand up" guy for admitting when he sucks, but doesn't admit he has an injury that was making him suck even worse. ARGHHHH.
