I think we all need to pray for her and her family! Not a time for judgement..just prayers.

prayers my booty.not a time for judgement you must be 1. related to her or 2. a good friend. How irresponsible can one person be, anybody with a lick of common sense knows you don't leave your child home alone at anytime for any reason, what if a fire broke out, what is somebody broke in, this little boy got out he could have walked in traffic (yes some areas have traffic that early in the morning),went to the wrong house anything could have happen,I NEVER leave my 4 year old in the house at anytime unless somebody is with him not even to go to the mailbox. This poor excuse for a mother ( I think egg donor is a better name for her) thought it was more important to get her cigarette fix to be concerned about her son. what she couldn't wait a couple more hours for him to wake up then go, how about making sure you have enough before settling down for the night, This person needs some serious parenting classes before she should have any kind of contact with her child. The sad thing is this probably not the first time she has done that and if she hadn't got caught it would continue doing it. The way our society work is that she will have her son back by the end of summer. I really hope she gets some jail time. The only person who needs prayer is that little boy and that's to give thanks to GOD that nothing happen to him while his egg donor decided to go get cigarettes instead of caring for the gift that GOD gave her. Another thought why didn't she just take him with her if it was that important that she gets cigarettes. I have no sympathy for people like her I went through to hell to have my son and people like her just don't care about there kid. How many mothers or even fathers would leave there kid for a cigarette in the middle of the night.

i should correct my previous post I should not have said prayers my booty I do think prayers are needed but not that she will get off scott free, but that she will learn from her mistakes and yes I do feel she needs to be punished, and yes that may mean jail time, which I doubt she will get. I just get angry when I hear about parents doing STUPID things, I fought for 10 years and several miscarriages to have my first and only child ( i hated leaving him in his crib while I did dishes) and knowing there is thousands of people out there who want kids but just cant, then we have fools like this just leaving there child at home and in possible danger, you are hearing more and more every day children dying at the hands of there parents rather it be abuse or neglect, we need tougher laws that protect the children. Im not saying make s example out her but start punishing these fools with more then a slap on the wrist and probation.

I feel very sorry for this four year old to have to be raised by a mother that would leave him alone at anytime. From what I understand she does not smoke cigarettes and that this was not the first time she has left him alone late at night. She does not deserve to teach our children at WBMS or at any school until she gets her life in order. They need to take her son away from her and give him to parents that appreciate the gift from GOD that he is.

Those of you who think Ms Toni was perfect based on her outward appearance to you, look deeper. For a person who doesn't smoke, you should have checked her car during her lunch break. Her boyfriend has a drug addiction which she denounces him for, yet she admittadly smokes pot. She acts like she has lost all this weight because of hard work, would that be writing the check for her surgery or the throwing up what food she eats.
I am sorry if this message offends some, however, the false perception of the blessed Ms. Toni offends me.

NO SHE IS NOT IN JAIL!! WHERE SHE SHOULD BE. THIS SORRY EXCUSE FOR A MOTHER WILL PROBABLY ONCE AGAIN GET A SLAP ON THE WRIST AND BE SENT ON HER WAY. AND THE NEXT TIME, GOD FORBID, COULD BE EVEN WORSE ON HER SON. ALL I CAN SAY IS I HOPE GOD WILL LOOK OUT FOR THIS CHILD BECAUSE AS LONG AS SHE IS AROUND HIM HE WILL NEED IT!!!

All of you are completely wrong about Mrs.Toni. She is a wonderful teacher and an amazing teacher. For you people to judge her and not know what really happen shows how barbarian, ignorant and insensible you are. She never left her son to go get cigarettes, the child thought he was home alone because she was in the bathroom. Her son went to the neighbors house where Mrs.Toni went to get her son, after she called the police. Seeing that her son knew to go to a neighbors house if anything went wrong at home such as a fire, or break-in shows how she loved her son and prepared him for emergency like any good mother would. And the charges were dropped because police officials knew how good of a mother she is. So all of you who wrote those things about her need to reevaluate what a good mother is.

The saying is to never leave your child anywhere you wouldn't leave a million dollars unattended. I know someone who got called on because they left their twin babies to go get coffee at a neighbors' place. They should have had the neighbor bring it to them because they got a visit from CPS. The babies were sleeping in cribs but still shouldn't have been left alone.
