Worst for snow skiing?

Apple picking?

Maple syrup?

I myself feel sorry for the state of West Virginia.
They have a looney living there.

West Virginia, the heart of incest country, and this guy is a poster child for what happens when siblings hook up and reproduce!!

Yeah, right. I'd rather live amongst the coal mines of WV than the palm trees of FL. Little too much black lung and tainted moonshine there, sparky?

I've only been to Florida one time. It was in the month of June and it was hot as hell. Other then that, I don't know anything about Florida. I do love Palm trees, though!

Oh heck, it's way hotter in July and August!! BUT...it's tropical and green and the flowers are gorgeous and the beaches are gorgeous and the parks are fun, and NASA is entertaining AND educational, the Everglades are a national treasure.....can you tell I like it here??:)

Yes, the roads are very winding there if you are off the interstate. Pretty.

Yep. I lived in PA for many years. Parts of WV are beautiful, but the people are a bit uneducated and backward, and it really is known for a high incidence of incest, particularly in the rural mountainous areas. Driving through is nice, I wouldn't advise stopping.:)

Ouch! I live in WV. I live in the Eastern Panhandle. Moved here 12 years ago. Was born and raised in Maryland. Raised our girls on the water on a little Island. Worked on the boat and learned to hate the water. Always had a passion for the mountains and Historic areas. The area is in the Tri state area and full of beautifull mountains. Many people from DC are moving here and then want to have the mountains torn down for housing...
So, here I am. I am educated and no line of incest, HOWEVER, you are so right. WV does have a lot of uneducated folks and there are areas that time has left behind. My husband and I have found areas like that on our country rides and believe me, we get through that area faster then Ron can come up with something nasty to say!!:)

What part of PA were you in?

Indeed they are winding. My oldest daughter lives on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. You can see forever on those straight roads. She was born and raised there. Now she visits us up here and the roads scare her! lol

I live near Pittsburgh, and my husband travels to WV weekly. I love it there, especially in the fall. WV has some of the most beautiful country in the world. Besides, who couldn't love watching Jesco White? ;-)

Silly, I'm glad you love living in Fl, but we go down each March and it's too hot for me THEN, lol. Heat absolutely takes every bit of energy right out of me. I live for fall, winter and spring. I 'endure summer' even up here. The last two days our high was in the low 60s and that's when I start coming to life again.

PA is a beautiful place. My husband use to travel to Pittsburg about twice a month a while back. We visit the Lancaster are a lot. Not the shopping but love the area. Bind-In-Hand and Strasburg is a favorite place to go too. Are you in the heavy rain area?

We've been getting a lot, but not as much as some.

The Amish area is beautiful, isn't it? Generally on weekends we go up to our cottage on Lake Erie, and when we take the backroads rather than I-79, we drive past tons of Amish farms. We love it. It's only annoying when we get behind one of the buggies and are in a no-passing zone, lol.
