I must say I like Hedo and everything but he is not worth 10 million no way no how......... I just read on ESPN we offerend him a 4 yr 36million dollar contract witch is 9 million annually.... and he declined it... that to me tells me he doesnt want to be here anymore.... Which is okay but I dont wanna here anything about the Magic didnt try hard enough cause they definitly did.... See ya Hedo have fun never winning a ring while we get one here within the next 2 years.... Thanks for all THE GLUE lol.........

I don't know if i'm the only one to notice, but Turk also always wanted an electrifying environment from the fans....something that only seemed to come when the Magic were doing well in the playoffs. I would not be surprised if a reason behind his move will be to find an arena where fans dont sit down for 75% of the game.
Don't get me wrong guys....I love the Magic more than most things. But the fans need to step it up next season. Go to more games....do what you gotta do to make more noise. If that means gettin your drink on a little bit, do it in the tailgates so we show that we are serious fans.
I think it would make players like Turk a little bit more likely to stay if they know that the fans in Orlando are some of the best in sports.
I totally agree. Even in the big playoff games, it didn't seem like the Magic fans got excited until the 4th with 2 minutes to go. Which is funny because it used to be one of the livest arenas in the NBA. Do away with the clappers and thundersticks...and bring back the screaming and yelling with towels waving abroad.

We need teams to fear playing in Orlando....not have them looking forward to a vacation.

You forget to mention that Hedo had over 200 turnovers in the regular season - an unbelievably high number. So forget the assist ration. He's a turnover machine.
Also he was the turnover leader among small forwards in the playoffs. A deserving honor
The number of turnovers in the regular season does not matter--he handles the ball more than any other forward in the league other than LeBron so the fairest way to look at him is assist to turnover ratio. Steve Nash had 248 turnovers. Chris Paul had 231. This guys are PGs--it is their job to protect the ball. We would not say they are not good players or passers--why? Because they score points, make plays for other people, and make few turnovers compared to how much the ball in their hands. He was the "volume" leader of turnovers in the playoffs because he played more games than anyone else. Obviously if you are in the NBA Finals, you are playing in a lot more games than everyone else. So, again, your point with trying to twist the stats does not work. everyone on here knows you are a racist tool.

I, honestly feel the Magics mess up a very promising team.to me the trade is not an exciting trade. The player that they trade for is not a real winner,he is more of a quitter.
I, am sorry Turk, is leaving,Turk , is a very hard nose player ,he put his blood on the court when it is time to do so. I, do not think the team will be better than last season with the trade.
Any better have to be the winner of the title.

Your forgetting that promising team almost got beat by the KG-less Celtics, and got destroyed in the finals by the Lakers.... We had to do something especially with Cleveland getting Shaq, and the C's getting KG healthy again.... Stop falling in love with one or two players and understand that everyone on this team is interchangeable except Nelson and Dwight.....

Dwight Howard said on Tuesday that he hopes Orlando re-signs free agent Hedo Turkoglu.
"I really would love for Hedo to stay," Howard said. "I believe that we can win a championship...He's been a big part in my development as a player and I hope he stays around." Keeping Turkoglu would be a lot more difficult now that Orlando has traded for Vince Carter, a trade that sent Howard's best friend on the team, Courtney Lee, to New Jersey. Jun. 30 - 6:47 pm et

A turnover is a turnover.

I'm not twisting anything.

When you are leading in turnovers in the playoffs (at your position)- there's a problem.

You are actually trying to spin it by adding assists.

Face it Hedo is a turnover machine.

Who is going to put more butts in the seats? Turk or Carter. Easy carter. So even if the magic suck they will probably sell enough tickets for it not to matter. Not to mention a run to the finals they sold bunches of season tickets before the move. Sometimes business is more important then winning, or should i say if your not winning. Which isnt always guaranteed.

I f-ing love Hedo and he will be missed in Orlando. Not only for his skills, but for being the single most entertaining Magic player on the floor. He's always cracking jokes, getting into it with opposing teams, and generally cutting it up on and off the court. I can't tell you how many times my wife and I were watching Turk during the game or in post interviews, and couldn't help but laugh at how silly he was. On top of being funny, he's also one of the only guys on our team with balls. He stands up for himself and for his team which is more then I can say about most of the girly men on our team. Even when we won the East this year, Turk was in the background screaming at the other guys to let him touch the tropy...it was hilarious!

Thanks for the good time Turk...you will be missed.

Many of you are unaware but for the playoff Orlando Magic became turkish national basketball team. As a fan I watch all the games live waking up at 3 4 am s in the morning. I hope Hedo stays with Orlando which is more experienced in playoffs and as a team. It was nice to watch a very balanced team. They just lose to their inexperiency against lakers...

Note to the Magic world...

We MUST develop or SIGN somebody at the 4 spot. The signing of Carter effectively replaces Turk. In the opinion of some, we get a better player, but with the loss of Battie and Gortat, we miss rebounding. Anderson Varajao is out there but I doubt if he is willing to sign for the Mid-Level.

Let's face it, we are a Dwight Howard ankle knee or ankle injury away from being mediocre. Look at Leon Powe look at SOMEBODY who can rebound and get tough buckets down low.

I love Hedo, but get over it as soon as you can and get some frontline help, Magic.

Can't believe we're not going to get Rasheed. That looks like it could turn out to be very regrettable---especially since he's going to Boston.
