I love this movie. I grew up in Grass Valley/Nevada City and this movie just reminds me of home and how wonderful the town is during the holidays. If you ever want to experience a small town in a big way, you need to come here. You won't regret it.

This event is an event which that happen in a small town. It made me warm and healing. It brought me closer to pure living. Navada City gave me that belonging and want to be there. I fell in love with Nevad City and the Christmas Card. The chuch was a real thing.

Are there basic floor plans for the family home of the spelman home? It is a beautiful home and I would like to take a look at what other parts of the house look like.

The Christmas Card is a beautiful, romantic and nostalgic story that brings back my own memories of the area. When Cody rode into Nevada City on his Harley looking for the person who sent the Christmas Card to him in the war zone...it reminded me of how I met my husband 55 years ago. The Harley, Nevada City, our agees, lumbering & logging...only he had been in the Coast Guard.

I absolutely love this movie. Being from the south, this reminds me of the Southern hospitality that makes one feel welcome. John Newton is awesome in his role as Cody. Like a good Southern gentleman. We need to care more for one another than we do in this day and time. Beauitful scenery. Nice people, Wonderful message.God Bless us all. Happy New Year!

I would love to know where the house in the movie The Christmas Card was located. It is a beautiful log home.

Does anyone know the music that plays in the background when Cody and Faith dance? I've tried and tried to come up with the name of the song, but have been unsuccessful.

My husband and I just accidentally found this movie on the Hallmark Channel during Christmas 2007 and fell in love with it. My husband isn't into this type of movie, but said this one's worth buying. We did and my parents had to have it as well. It's impossible not to love this story and scenery! You'll cry at some point.

Did you ever receive the floor plans or log home model? I've been searching online as well. The house is beautiful!

The season is getting closer again, and I want to thank every one that goes out of their way to send Christmas Cards out to our troops across seas!

Not sure, but think I may have found floor plans which are pretty close to the home used in the movie. Take the Mountaineer brand ( mountaineerlog.com )'Overlook' model, but remove the loft to make it only one story. Then add on the deck and garage shown in their 'Berkeley' model.(Actually, logcabins.com has a closer looking garage.)
I've tried taking pictures of the interior of the actual house in the movie, but I keep getting too many reflections or blurry shots. If anyone has been able to get clear photos of those, I'd appreciate receiving them.
Can't say enough about the movie!!!Loved it--and just think---no swearing, nudity, violence, etc. and yet it makes you feel great inside and want to watch it over and over again.

I can't say enough about this movie! Loved, loved, loved it!!! Finally a movie that I can watch with my children, one that incorporates faith, and outreach. What a great example for all to see. I too LOVED the log cabin. Such a simple, rugged yet ellegant home. This movie makes me feel warm and cozy inside. I have GOT to go on a sleigh ride like that! I also loved the portrayal of a Luke and Rosie, a true couple who took their vows to heart. Way to go Hallmark!

A movie I can watch over and over. I really like the role John Newton plays, an honorable and solemn personality.

I have watched this movie many times, first for the movie and story , then again for the 'good feeling' and then for the scenery. I have visited Nevada City and it is beautiful all year round. Thanks Hallmark!
