What about the Orange County Florida Deputy who was involved with Casey and lied about it. Did he get arrested like Casey did for lying? Why did he lie? It is clear this cop filed false police reports. There is no question in my mind cops will lie and file false police reports to protect themselves.I wonder how many innocent people are in jail today because of crooked cops?

Doesn't anybody here see? What could possibly be done to George and Cindy that could ever hurt them after what has already happened to them? It would be POINTLESS to waste even more tax dollars prosecuting people that would be aqquitted anyway, based on the severity of this case, and th loss of their beloved Grandaughter, not to mention their daughter, whom they love unconditionally, as any parent would. You may not like it, but this is the reality of this sad and horrifying situation.

And...just in case anyone is wondering, NO, I am NOT Pro-Casey! I am yet another outraged mother who cannot for the life of her comprehend how Casey could not report her daughter missing for 31 days! That is reprehensible and tells me she is guilty...the partying, the lack of emotion, the me,me,me attitude smacks of sociopathy, and I shudder at the thought of her possibly getting away with this! On the other hand, until one of us is in the position of George and Cindy, we really cannot understand the hell of being them, so we need to just back off of them, and focus on getting through this...I do believe it has wounded us to our very core as a people, and yes, I want what you all do, JUSTICE FOR CAYLEE!

The initial news reports said that one of the drivers in the cahse of the car full of women had their vehicle set up with flashing strobe lights. Apparently they were pretending to be to be police. I thought impersonating law enforcement waa a crime, at least a misdemeanor. Do they get off too?

Wow, this is a great deal. Just claim you know the Anthonys and you won't get arrested for anything!

Officer: "Guy, you appear to have drinking, please step out of your car."

Guy: "I'm sorry officer, I know George Anthony. You know, the Anthonys have been through enough. I'll be leaving now."

Officer: "My apologies Guy, you take care now."

Charges should never even have been considered. They may be trash but there is no crime in that.

Woody, I won't call them trash. I cannot personally blame them for the horrors visited upon Caylee, nor for the way Casey turned out..I know what it is to have a sociopath in your family. The same parents can raise a crop of kids the same way, and have one go bad. It happens all the time. If anything, the Anthonys deserve some compassion, and I do agree this does NOT entitle them to break the Law.The Anthonys did display poor judgement here, I agree, to Just A Guy..

How about the Orange County Deputy who lied about being involved with Casey. What is he? Why did he lie. Isn't Casey's dad a ex-cop? How about the cop who did not investigate the plastic bag. Ornage County has pathetic Law Enforcement. CLEAN HOUSE!

DUIBUSH,I think they DID investigate the plastic bag, unless you are referring to that cop who didn't want to go in the area because of the snakes, which I find ridiculous, if he was that fearful, he certainly should have called for back up. I do believe he has lost his job over that.As for the cop who was involved with Casey, he probably lied, as it was embarrassing to admit being involved with HER. He also lost his job, so there is two instances of orange County getting out the Broom. Casey's dad was a cop about 20 years ago, and not here in FL. And actually, other agencies are quite impressed with OCPD and their criminal investigations unit, just not the 2 FORMER officers in question...

As I told another poster I will not back off George and Cindy until they fess up to their and Casey's wrongdoing. I agree a parent loves their child unconditionally...not lie for their child unconditionally. Do you actually believe George and Cindy are concerned with justice for Caylee? They know in their hearts Casey killed Caylee and they are doing whatever they have to do to get Casey off because they will not lose their daughter in this as well. If George and Cindy were saying they had their doubts about Casey's innocence and while they love their daughter if she is in fact guilty she needs to be held accontable for it I would have sympathy for them and their sitution, but that is not the case here. To top all that off they are casting accusations to innocent people to get their child off. NO SYMPATHY AT ALL FOR THEM!!! I am not in their position, but I know for a fact if one of my boys were responsible for the death of my grandchild I sure as well wouldn't for one be lying to cover their crime. They would be held accountable for what they did and two I would ask for public support for the killer at my grandchilds memorial service. I would not have even mentioned their names. George and Cindy Anthony are merely two more players in this game of Casey's and the loser was Caylee. I only hope they get what is coming to them come trial and they are stupid enough to lie under oath and be sitting their butts in jail just like their murdering daughter.

It certainly appears as if George and Cindy are above the law.

The good news is that everyone who has been following this case is learning how to weasel their way out of everything from perjury to murder, particularly in Orlando.

I wonder if there is anything they could do right now that would land them in trouble?

Death no longer has to be a sad thing. It can be a new career and a way to relive your rebellious youth in the spotlight! There are no boundaries.

Smashing memorials and fighting in the street. Lying for sport. Accusing whomever crosses your path of something illegal. Hanging with the pedophiles and criminals. It's what all the cool grandparents are doing these days.

This whole case is going to be inspirational to every nutcase in the world.

Wooden Giraffe, you sure have that right. It seems all parents are learning the game well. There was that case in Tampa where the cute highschool cheerleader apparently killed a homeless woman, Melissa Sjostrom, in a vehicular hit and run. Parents lawyered up. Melissa did not even get a ticket.

Here's a link:

IMO if Lois Peter were more photogenic, had a few more teeth and were younger the Anthonys would have been charged.

Also Florida police generally seem like caricatures. If George Anthony were not incurably indolent, he easily could have hooked up with Florida LE. It would have made disposing Caylee Anthony's remains more effective.

Sorry. My mistake. Melissa got death. The highschool cheerleader did not even get a ticket.

Apparently nothing sticks. Just lie, deny and grab a cheap attorney.

Enjoy the future Florida, it looks crime-free.

It's just a guess based on the actions and words of George and Cindy, but I think that exposing their money making scam and forcing them to go back to WORK would hurt them the most.

They seem to be full of life and energy in their hot pursuit of donations and the new lifestyle they have embraced since Caylee left their lives. I believe that they reconcile this tragedy by believing that Caylee was only here a short time to provide for them in their golden years.

Prosecute them? Nah, just let them do as they please.

BTW, although it is good to see that you are concerned about the cost to the tax-payers, I honestly think the tax-payers would prefer to see justice and hear the truth.

I have to correct you on this post Wooden Giraffe. George Anthony could not go BACK to work. Cindy could go back to work, not George. George did not work.

George is indolent. In the Anthony divorce discussions by Cindy's brother Rick (available on the internet and in the discovery docs, so no link necessary) Cindy worked and paid for George's support during their marriage. If the divorce would have finalized, George would have received half the house under Florida law, even though he never contributed money; and Cindy would have paid indolence support to George, because that's what she did during the marriage.

Remember what tipped George over the edge for his gesture suicide attempt: he had to go to a JOB INTERVIEW that day. Apparently George hates work more than the fear of he77 itself.

You're quite right.

George is like a kept cat. Lounging all day watching the cooking channel and dreaming about his next seafood dinner.

And Cindy would have a hard time getting back into nursing since being robbed of her sense of smell.

Forget those jerks. They should rot and die in jail for covering up what their malicious piece of sh** daughter did. THERE is definitely MORE punishment for them. I hope they bring their bathing suits cuz its hottt in hell
