My advice to all the franchise owners would be to start in Midlothian and fire all employees and start all over, also take a mop and some Lysol to the place.

The franchise has not been sold, the Burger King corporation has, this will have little effect on the local units including the local Midlothian Burger King.

When i was last at the Midlothian Burger King the Police were called, by customers. 1/2 the crew didn't show up and after 20 minutes ,5 of us stood there waiting. The would give no refunds and they were rude. Some manager lady was screaming and so were the customers. 20 minutes is too long for fast food. Then they had no ketshup. They would pour you some from a can into a big to-go cup. The only good one left is 110th & Kedzie. Also, do NOT go to the one on 103rd & Harlem. Unless you want 2 day old food. Some times i just have a taste for one. Not often, but sometimes. They were much better years before.

I understand that I read the article before I posted it. My advice to the new corporation was that. Crack down on these slumlord franchise owners. I was in the Midlo Burger King on Christmas Eve two years ago trying to get a bite to hold me over before my family get together. The place was packed and they couldn't keep up, so the manager came out and locked the front door so no one could get in. The employees obviously not used to doing any work, were behind the counter swearing up a storm at each other and there were kids in there, I mean like 4 and 5 years old. It took me about 15 min to get 2 cheeseburgers. As I was walking out I asked that the manager come out of her office because I thought the swearing was inappropriate, she heard me ask and then said "who's out there complaining?", then saw me and said "that white boy?", then as I started to tell her that it was wrong for her employees to swear in front of customers she kept interupting me by saying have a nice day..have a nice day! Basically FU to me. I never went back there, I bet others have had the same experience, thats why BK is in trouble.

WOW, I can't believe what you had to go through. Lets see.... why do you think that this particular Burger King is the way it is?HMMMM. You being called a White Boy" is a big hint. I stopped going there. Our mayor should go over there and tell them to clean up their act or get out. But before too long it will catch up to them and they'll close due to lack of business from all you "White Boys" I" not sayin', I'm Just sayin'

I think Burger King's food has McDonalds beat, hands down. It's just what you have to go through to get it and the inconsiderate, ignorant, uneducated morons that they have working at them that prevents me from patronizing their stores.
And then when you go to most McDonalds they screw up your order or you have a hard time understanding what they say. I know.... "Press 1 for English." Remember when all the fast food places employed young kids and retirees? What happened to that?

Daily Horoscope for February 5

Aquarius

There may be a little push and pull between home and work as the Sun in your sign clashes with the Moon. Things seem a little out of joint. Uranus and Pluto are under pressure, so work or obligations may mitigate your efforts. People in the neighborhood ask a lot of you, but don't be too amenable. Know the right time to say 'no'.
