Traffic backs up at driver's facilities

What's worth more: an extra $20 in your pocket or two hours of your time? Plenty of Southlanders chose the former Friday as they rushed to driver's license facilities in time to beat a looming fee increase.

What else is new, Illinois digging into the pockets of the citizens again. When does it stop. plate and driver license fees up more, with this economy. To top it off, you get treated like you are putting the State employees out to do their job,like do they ever smile or at least be pleasant. I have yet to see that, especially in Midlothian!!!!!

So true. When will people put an end to this. Illinois is the most corrupt state in the nation. And yet people keep voting these dirtbags in term after term. When will people wake up and vote them out. There are only two politicans i would keep lisa madigan and Peter Roskum. I'm sure there is more out there that are in smaller roles in towns like Renee Kosel. Everyone else hit the bricks pal. It is no longer Dem vs. Rep party. It should be corrupt vs. not corrupt.
