Water bottling plant application accepted

Crystal Geyser passed another hurdle Wednesday in the proposal to build a sparkling mineral water plant in Orland.

I just love how the meetings are held in the mornings or afternoons, so the working person can't attend. I am all for the bottling plant to come to Orland. It will at least create some jobs. Of course if someone wanted to put a orchard in, nothing would be said.

I think it's great that Orland will be getting the jobs. BUT understand that this company has been all over this part of the country looking for a small town that WON'T require an Environmental Impact Statement. Now why would that be? They are basically saying "don't worry, everything will be OK". Will it?
