Humboldt County deputies found marijuana, methamphetamine and a loaded firearm during a vehicle search in the Willow Creek area early Wednesday, resulting in three arrests.

I would have to agree, even though I am not a member of the tribe.

It is a shame that this type of incident happens all too frequently.

My question is: Didn't T-Bear just resolve an issue in the past regarding a shooting of some sort?

It won't happen. The crooked people always get away with it. that's Hoopa as usual. Remember last year when a tribal member tried to rob a store at gunpoint there and was shot dead by the clerk? He got what he deserved.

I think this is the same "Bear" guy that hit and killed the bicyclist on the 299 before the blue lake exit. The original reports said that he was under the influence but blew 0.0 on a breathylizer. Hmmm...That explains him being on Meth. How the hell is this guy out?

Ya I believe stuff like this happens everyday and not only in HOOPA. Maybe the crooked people do always get away with it and maybe they are not always from HOOPA...WHO KNOWS WHATS GOIN ON WHERE? one of our problems this nation faces is that the jails & prisons are always full and they release inmates early, or do not hold them at all at first.

I would love to see the old school jail & prisons! Have inmates grow their own food, work on chain gangs, etc. Make it scary & hard. The system is too lenient!

Wow the T-S is letting everyone rip on the natives. SOunds about right, the only time they actually cover anythign here is when stuff like this happens. Look no one was shot and killed trying to rob a gas station here, so i dont know where you get your information but it is false as always.
So im glad there isnt any meth heads outside of Hoopa, every town in this county must be meth free, and thank god for that. I have seen as many white meth heads as natives, but who wants to killed those meth head scum? not the peole on this forum, they jsut want to show people the racist they are, but we in hoopa already knew that.

The point I was trying to make is why do we continue to coddle this type of atmosphere in Hoopa? Why doesn't the tribe remove them from the payroll for being a discgrace to their tribe?

Didn't the Idians of old (past) do that? How did they punish their own for wrong doing?

They claim the soveriegnty (sp), but do not want to utilize the actual or physical attributes of the action.

What a pitty.

I really enjoy what the great creator has provided to me and my family and to respect what has been given to me. I would never disrespect that gift. Why do a few of the indians do this? And what of the tribes comments on this action?
