People complain about stuff because their lives are empty and unfulfilled.
I usually complain when my head hurts and I am hungover. |

Well, if I thought you could string two coherent sentences together I'd engage you further but evidently that seems like quite a challenge for you. The overwhelming responses in this forum favouring the enforcement of current laws limiting noise levels on motorcycles speaks for itself. Break the law, suffer the consequences. Nuff said! |

Thank you Redneck Rampage for your less than astute observation. I lead a full and enriched life thank you very much. One of my favourite pastimes however us to verbally eviscerate knuckle dragging troglodytes like you. You sound like a prime candidate for a Darwin award. Please drive with care! |

This post proves why you lead a single, and very pathetic and lonely life. Why you feel the needs to act superior to anyone is beyond me, but your verbal ramblings just proved my point...the need for fulfillment in your life. But you are cute in your own way, trying desperately to insult me with your 8th grade verbage. Nice try, no cigar. |

You know nothing about me. I don't attack people who choose to discuss issues in a civil manner. You're the one who labeled me, without provocation on my part, as "empty and unfulfilled". You appear to be able to dish it out but can't take it when it comes back your way. Don't start what you can't finish. |

Actually, I made a comment, and I didn't reference any single post. Obviously, you saw yourself in my remark, and your defenses came up. Thus, you responded rudely. That's okay, I can take your little comments, I don't mind. I have thick skin. I deal with little kids like you all day long. As I said, I didn't mention you at all. But you MUST be empty and unfulfilled, since you answered. Don't put yourself out there if you don't want everyone to know. Oh, and I can finish what I start, don't flatter yourself. This is on-line, it's not the real world. You need to get out more if you think that your petty little insults and such really matter. LOL Have a great day, Skippy! |

Of course you were targeting me and every other poster who holds the view that motorcyclists who thunder around on their Harleys are rude and obnoxious. You should stick to topic and avoid personal insults if you want to meaningfully contribute to this forum. No amount of backpedaling now is going to dilute the subjective bias and ad hominem nature of your post. BTW, you make a lot of assumptions about me that you seem to pull out of thin air. In your own myopic world this may be the norm, but when you submit your narrow minded opinions to public scrutiny be prepared to have them be labeled for what they are. |

Actually, since this is America, and this is a public forum, I can talk about anything I like.
In any event, I am not backpedaling, as I have nothing to prove to a tiny little person like you. But I enjoy that my posts make you dance like the pathetic puppet you are. |

you got to be kidding me. peter. you must realy hate harley. did they let you go as part of the slow down? is this why you are so pissed at harley? just asking because you keep referring to harley as this is the only bike making all the fucking noise. get your shit together and pull it out of your ass. all bikes do this. some people like it some people don't. but you can't blame it all on harley. ALL BIKE DO THIS. not just harley's.

You're absolutely right Redneck Rampage. It's a free country and you have every right to make a fool of yourself in public. As long as it doesn't infringe on the rights of others, be my guest. You know a bigger man might have said gee, I guess I got carried away there. I really didn't mean to insult everybody else in this forum who has a different opinion than mine. Sorry about that. I'm sure we could have patched it up and everything would have been fine. But no, you had to let your ego get in the way and here we are. So I've a couple of quotes from two people that I respect and admire. You may want to let the wisdom of these words sink in. "Faced with the choice between changing one's mind and proving that there is no need to do so, almost everyone gets busy on the proof." ...John Kenneth Galbraith Too often we enjoy the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought. ...JFK |

Wow, you got so upset that you clicked and posted twice. Sorry to get you so wound up there, Skippy.
I'm not the one making a fool of myself. Methinks thou dost protest too much. But I digress. Since you seem to need and want the last word on the subject, go ahead and post back. Post three times in the next post, if it makes you more fulfilled. LMAO. They're only motorcycles. It isn't the end of the world. Guess those that never leave the comfort of their sad little homes must be more uncomfortable than those of us that actually get outside. Have at it. |

you got to be kidding me. peter...
No, all bikes don't exceed lawful noise limits. On every occasion when I've run into this issue it is always some idiot with a beenie cap and an attitude on a Harley. ALWAYS!!! I've never had any problems with any other riders. I like Harley's. I have no problems with the Harley lifestyle. Just keep the noise levels to the legal limit and you'll have no issues with me. So I'm not going to go on like a broken record here, I think everybody knows exactly where I'm coming from. Sheesh! |

Sorry for the double post. Guess I was anxious to make my point!

I must have thought that if you read it twice it might actually sink in. Fat chance of that. Why don't you jump on you bike then and go for a ride. I'm sure there are some children or little old ladies you can frighten as you roar by.

you are still wrong. and it is ok for you to be wrong. what about the custom bikes? they are not harleys. hondas can make just as much noise as a harley. and so can ever bike out there. you do need to get your facts strait. i know i have mine striat. i work on them also. i have also delt with many of them. no i do not work in a shop/dealer. but i have. this is a fact. i even know non cruiser that are just as loud as a cruiser. think about it. just because you have not seen or heard them in your area, don't mean there are none. and you never know, some of them bikes my be customs

People that get mad at bikes with loud pipes are the same selfish jerks that bitch while they are in a bad traffic back up because the cops have stopped all traffic so the paramedics can try to save the life of an innocent motorcyclist that got ran over by an air head that changes lanes before signaling or looking. There sure are some weak whiny candy asses amongst us now days.
