I can see the need for more counselors because there is such a high volume of students. I know that my counselors didn't even know my situation because they had such a workload which made it impossible for them to really keep track of their students. I can't even remember how many coaches there were it seemed like the amount was endless. They need more teachers, smaller classes, and more counselors.

Maybe teachers would get a little more support if they worked a fulltime job and didn't get paid like CEO's.

No one seems to know what a coach really does. Just another position. Schools are running out of office space not classrooms.

There are many examples of "over-priced Baby Sitters". Another could be the visiting nurse who shows up to help you change your "DEPENDS". Incontinent Old Fool!

Are there some facts to support your position? From the information that I read, Parkland seems to be one of the top schools in the state. I think that reflects very well on the teachers and staff.

What is the foundation for this comment? A school would take 5 years to complete. What is the expected population growth for the area?

It's amazing that Parkland is one of the best school districts in the Valley, if not the best, and still manages to keep taxes very low in comparison to places like saucon, allentown, bethlehem, and nazareth. I'm guessing the amount of tax dollars from industry and commerce in the parkland region keeps residential taxes low? It's interesting.

Sir,
PSK-12 ranked Parkland at 23rd out of 693 in the state, another poll I read put Parkland at 41 out of 614. Please cite a source for your position.

It's you're, not your. I can see those tax dollars are going for a high quality education.

Teachers are very important part of a young persons development and teachers, at least the good ones, work hard to help their students develop in to future leaders and members of society. I am a little taken back about your comment. I have worked hard to become a teacher to help develop young people and take great pride in what I do. Just remember how important teachers are to the future of this country.

Actually you are wrong. It is 'your' not 'you're'. The sentence was:

If its sooooo easy to be a teacher and if the pay is sooooo great, your the IDIOT for not getting your teaching degree!

Now, if you replace the 'your' in the sentence with 'you're'(which actually is 'you are') it would read.

If its sooooo easy to be a teacher and if the pay is sooooo great, your the IDIOT for not getting YOU ARE teaching degree!

That's not right. The first post poster was correct. Sorry!
