Did oyu know how many conselors got hurt there as well, busted bones, backs all screwed up , cause there is a certain way to take the kids down, for me a baseball bat would work, a few of those and the kids wouldnt be so testy, lawyers, parents, blame them for allowing this crap to happen, if they were parents there wouldnt be a kidspeace, so maybe the parents need to arm themselves with a base ball bat, and give disipline where it needs you wouldnt have kids getting killed at least in an institution, on the street well thats another thing...Start with the irresponsible parents first and beat them....Blame Bush, Nixon, Obama, McCain and the rest of the lawyers as well, as they go to court and say "my Johnnie was a good boy" and just slap their wrists

I agree with you. It starts with the parents at home. Where are they? The parents need to be accountable for thier parenting. teaching thier children respect for others, what is right from wrong etc...I have had some bad experience with Kid's Peace but also some great experiences with them and the services they provide my autistic son. The need to look at where the problems are, such as proper training and more shawdowing before allowing their employees to take on thier positions.

Well money is the bottom line up there, they got rid of the higher paying conselors and replaced with the 8 to 10 dollar an hour people, and also their rules of level 1 level 2 , come on I know people there for 20 years and gone why?? Its not because they cant do the job, its because there were making 15 bucks an hour and above, and that is the truth and they really cared about the kids , I SEEN THIS FIRST HAND, they really did care, but today its a busniess with lower pay, heck they got rid of people with sheepskins hanging on the walls , gone, educated people in the field , gone because they make decent money replace them with lower cost people, KP lost a lot of respect lately and once oyu lose that its hard to come back !!! I 'd rather see a LVH take over as a hospital annex up there for recovering patients, maybe small surgical problems, rehab from operations, make something usefull up there for the people of this area!!! Sorry but it is the truth...

The counselors certainly don't have it easy, there are some very difficult children there. The counselors are attacked constantly, and there isn't much they can do about it, short of quitting.

We already support them with our tax dollars and I don't see anything that says its money well spent.I blaim the Parents for passing their kids to the house of misfits. Just because I pay taxes to support these slugs I don't have to like it.If their that bad put them in a boot camp ,maybe we wouldn't have all these misfits. Also if you think this is worth the effort you have a few of the slugs enter you home. You sound like you can streighten them out.GOOD LUCK!!

Another case of Greed from the upper crud. All these layoffs, less population why is it that some departments are exempt from layoffs. Such as Security, Secretaries, Receptionists, Enviromental Services (Housekeeping),admissions, human resources etc.. It's only a matter of time Kidspeace will be no longer in existense. They are selling off the property so the crud can get there buy outs and split. The bright side is we taxpayers won't be dishing out our hard earned money for the freeloaders. GOOD RIDDINS TO KIDSPEACE
