Actually the signs in front of the Fogelsville School are there only because the parents complained when PennDot wanted to take them down. The signs really don't meet the criteria to be there because no walks to school there anymore. The busses are suppose to use Industrial but they don't all use it.

So get rid of that zone. This is very simple.

No school pedestrians = no school zone!

The one in front of Ed Tracy (Easton) is nothing more than an excuse to write tickets for the Palmer Township cops who sit on that stretch all day. They should remove all of them unless they are in an urban setting like the Allentown or Bethlehem city schools. These signs all outlived their usefulness since hardly anyone in Parkland walks to school anymore. Even if there are a few walkers, their need is still questionable.
