i beleve the wilson case says it all about gilmer PD. A department who allows evidence to be miss placed..come on no one but a pd employee would be able to tamper with the evidence. who else would have the ball to breakin to the evidence room, or just take thier key out and unlock the dam door..the bring up bogus charges against others to hid them selves from line of sight..some one need to put a stop to this towns round table. the mayor is nothing but a pupet to the pupet masters of gilmer. his hands are tied, or doesnt have enough guts or town suport to stop the injustice.

I agree that Gilmer has always been a very bad place to reside. Isn't it funny that when people get into positions of authority, or what they perceive to be authority, they think they are above the law and with each passing day become more evil. Anyone with their eyes open can see this in Gilmer. My house is for sale and I pray to God it sells soon. I do know that there are at least two police officers that have been good to me and helped me when I needed it the most. but I still want out of this town ASAP.

Fenton you're an IDIOT.
Gilmer has Always had a Good Police Department.
As to the Guy that had a Military Fly Over,
That is Steve Dean and he sure as Hell did not have anything to do With Kelly Wilson
Dean....wasn't he the guy that polluted water in Upshur County with lumber mill chemicals and the Government shut his daddy's lumber mill down that he was running? A number of people filed lawsuits against him for health problems and that also contributed to the lumber mills closing. LOL, he's an idiot. What a pillar of the community. Upshur County.... the only place in Texas where a want to be can be because they inherited money or are related to someone with money or temporary prominence and where low life scum stay stuck up the want to be's butts because they are also a failure in life. Does this ring a bell?

I see it has been awhile since anyone has posted. Any new changes as to how the police department is running? I'm still interested in possibly applying here or somewhere in the local commuting area. Thoughts or suggestions?

Want to know why? Try looking for information about the Kelly Wilson Murder Case. The look on Facebook to See the Gilmer Police Department are "friends" with a Tattoo Shop on Harrison St. Owned and Operated by a convicted pedophile who went to prison for molesting a 3 year old girl.(this can be found on the DPS website for sex offenders) Guess where are the noobies are getting their tattoos done now. Did you also know, Upshur county has around 49 sex offenders, and Gilmer, Texas is the town 48 reside in? Gilmer, Texas has around 4,700 people. This means around one out of every 100 people you shake hands with in Gilmer, TX is a sex offender. This is higher per capita than any state or city in the United States. Did you also know in the Kelly Wilson murder/disappearance that the Gilmer Police Department claimed that "someone" break INTO their police station and stole pertinent information regarding the case and even Texas Rangers were compromised because of "who was involved." The F.B.I. Agent out of Tyler, Texas was compromised. Someone there doesn't want their dirty little secrets leaked. Someone very powerful. Someone with enough power to have a stealth fighter and stealth bomber do a fly over for an annual festival they call the "YAMBOREE." Going to Gilmer looking for a nice town is like screwing for virginity. It is a dark, evil town with a rich history of devil worship, pedophilia, sex abuse and in this town, the only law is the golden one. He who has the most gold, is the law.
that sex offender you spoke of on Harrison,, the conviction date is 1988..with no other record of any other stuff,,fo,25 years

that tattoo shop sex offender was convicted in 1988. 25 years ago. and if you do the math he was 18 years old. and no other convictions since then. seems to me if he was a pedophile you say he is he would have been in trouble since then.. God knows everyone who goes to jail are criminals .the court systems are never wrong
