Church's Chicken franchise to replace Orchards A&W

This Orchards-area former A&W restaurant is set to become the first Vancouver location for Atlanta-based fried chicken chain Church's Chicken.

there chicken has no taste to them. unless you use the flavor sauce. which still does not help. it is not a good replacement for a&w food

I will be driving to washinton to taste tomorrow, if it nasty they dont need one here cause people in washington no nothing about church's chicken to begin with... Or I should say west coast....

Let's just say I miss A&W. I tried the Church's this weekend. I realize it's new and all. The parking lot was a nightmare. There were so many people inside you couldn't move, and they had no air conditioning on! It was 99 degrees outside. And to top it all off...they had NO ice! Hot day and drinks with no ice! Lame. The least they could have done was tell people they had no ice, or go across the street and get a few bags from the mini mart.
Like I said, I miss A&W. The chili dog Tuesdays, the drive-in stalls with the phones to order food, and most of all, the pumpkin soft serve. If any restuarant in this area can offer pumpkin soft serve again, you got my business!

I have had Church's Chicken in Montana and it's certainly better than Kentucky Fried Chicken and Popeyes Chicken!

Had their 8 piece spicy with mashed potatoes. Never eaten at a Church's before. Chicken is way overspiced and the spices taste like chemicals. Mashed potatoes are powdered and taste horrible.

The former A&W was a filthy restaurant and they used the same trash areas in the remodel. The floor is already greasy and dirty and the employees looked ragged and unkept.

A DEFINITE two thumbs down and we will NOT be going back. I will drive across the river to the Popeye's on 82'nd if I desire fast-food chicken before EVER stepping offt in this facility again.

Yall should try Ryan's chicken, it's very good.. get a Ryan's in , it will do yall good..

I liked it. I liked A&W, too, but I got bad service every time. I would get upset by the bad service, then try it again a couple years later. I think I had about four attempts at A&W from 2000 to 2007 and I was always amazed at how slow and rude they were. Anyhow, I think Church's tastes just as good as Popeye's, and I got good service while I was there.

Woodlands church's chicken already closed for "some" reason. maybe it was too dirty,lousy,bad employees,not good food, who knows but I hope it gets replaced with Long johns silver

The New Chicken House will soon open in Woodland The food and the service will be outstanding everything will be new and clean,check it out.

There is no connection with church"s I think you will like what these guys are planning to do.All new menu and Soft ice cream,I think they will have free delivery to.

They couldn't be lucky enought to be connected with Church's!! The Vancouver/Orchards Church's is really good - The chicken strips were great, my son just loved them!!! Thanks for the awesome service!

I understand that the church"s chicken in vancouver has been shut down severl times for being dirty by the health dept.this is not a place I would take my family.Being clean and having good food goes hand and hand.

Why is it that all the goat ropers from India and other countrys around that area buy all these chicken places and minute marts think they dont need to clean there places up?,every one of these places I have been in the place is dirty,and stinks,what is are health dept.doing.

I havent tried there chicken yet but that aw was grodee I ate a bbq sandwich there and it came up after 20 min

It's always sad when a business get's replaced and put out of business by another. I've never tried either of these fast food resteraunts' food. But I've heard alot of good things about Church's Chicken.

How can you say the Church's Chicken has been shut down several times if it just opened? Is there another one somewhere else in town or are you just spreading rumors as a KFC agent?

Churches Chicken closed in Woodland because the owner of the business is a lousy businessman and doesn't know how to run a restaurant. FYI... the health department shut the Vancouver one down just a few days later because of horrible reasons!!! The employees definenlty could of used a makeover and a good talking to but when the owner doesn't care.. obviously management can only deal with the cards they are dealt....

It is NOT connected with the Churches. This place is going to a be a hometown restaurant with good food, good employees etc..etc.. I heard a rumor it's opening this week!
