Nearly 100 Seattle activists and citizens gathered in May to formally coordinate a local chapter of 350, a grassroots national organization that is rallying against the rising amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere.

Q:“What can we do to stop the climate crisis?”
A:“Everything”— including replacing a century’s worth of trees and lobbying for government laws and restrictions. Because there is a target of 350, it can become tangible, even if it seems “impossible.”
