I have to say that pretty much all the people
I've dealt with in The U.S. have been nice!
Rearly have I met mean spirited people
in America, much more elsewhere!
I'm only speaking for myself of course,
but I really had a great life in the few states
that I lived in! To me
America is one of a kind mentally stimulating
state of mind, never boring, mostly up lifting!
I hope these more challenging times won't harm
that American Spirit From Sea to Shining Sea
that I got to know real well!
Thanx to you all!

The weather. Hands-down the absolutely worst thing about Seattle. The shit season starts sometime around mid-September and ends sometime in the beginning of July. During this time you can pretty much expect high temps in the low 50's and low temps in the upper 30's, with constant overcast. The locals often point out that Seattle gets less rainfall (in inches) than most other American cities. But what they don't tell you is that it rains just about all the time! It's this annoying drizzle that sticks around for days on end. And you can't really do anything outdoors because it's just so shitty out there. In the wintertime, you can expect darkness to fall sometime around 4pm. Seeing the sun during wintertime is like finding a needle in a haystack. It's very depressing and I can pretty much guarantee you that you'll feel like a slug during winter.
Anyways, sometime during the first week of July (yes July), the weather will clear up and it will start getting into the low 70's. The locals always brag about how this is the best summer weather in the country. It's not. You still need pants and a warm jacket after sundown. Ironically, this is also the time that the locals start complaining about how hot it is. 75 degrees is too hot for them. The nice weather only sticks around until the beginning of September and then rapidly gives way to another 9-10 months of soul-crushing depressing overcast.
Listen, I lived in Seattle for about a year. This was back in the 90s when everyone was running up there from CA, don't know if that's still the case. Everyone complained about the weather and spun sunny daydreams about moving here, to Adirolf. None of these dreamers had ever experienced an Adirolf summer, with 100 degree temps and 100% humidity. Seattle is also very humid, of course. There is a difference, however. In Seattle, when the humidity is high, you don't dissolve into a sweat puddle like the Wicked Witch of the Southeast. Still, it's a bit too gloomy up there for me. And the cold rain in the winter is hard to take. I'm planning on moving out of Adirolf, probably to a local with four distinct seasons. It's a matter of personal preference, though. There are people down here who love the atrocious heat. In case you were unaware, "Adirolf" is "Florida spelled backwards. I don't want you to go away confused.

I lived in Seattle for 2 years in the mid 90's and
for some reason I can't remember now
ever thinking while in Seattle that it was real bad overcast!
But I do remember when at the beginning of winter,
I think about Dec? I left and moved to Vegas,
I remember just looking at the sky and realizing
how clear without a single cloud it was like constantly!
It really felt great! I then moved after winter to
Portland about June? Then I remember just being at awe
of the greenness around, I drove there thru Northern Nev.
Thru Klamath Falls...Eugene and it was really beautiful!
Then it got real hot up in Portland too, really!
I remember thinking like it's about the best type of summer
weather around!
Later on I also ended up living in Tampa Bay, FL
and even though it does get real humid....muggy,
it's real nice in Florida year round!
The thing about Vegas was that too hot is too hot
and those real hot days are on for weeks if not months!
To me the main thing was/is that anyplace in America
is a great place to be in its own ways
and I'd rather be in no place else. Seriously!

Washington is a fine state. If you think it sucks you should try the "other Washington" (Washington DC).

A bit of both, could be.

Nature's beauty is in the climate. Doesn't have to be hot, sunny and desert like to have that.

My stupid dying tech job thought it would be good for me to work here (before being outsourced to India).
If one asks "how many people live in Washington State?". I say zero. Everybody merely exists.

Congressman Adam Smith Screwed McChord and Fort Lewis...

Congressman Adam Smith is running for reelection in 2014.

Smith is actively supporting billions of dollars to be taken from military budget and 125,000 soldiers losing their jobs.

Under Obama billions of dollars has been inserted into Muslim Brotherhood and terrorist supporting states. Billions of dollars removed from military budget will also fund America's enemies.

Smith should be the first to understand [his treason] the damage he is inflicting on our military forces and upon the National Security of the United States.

How is it politicians with pro-Russian Liberal/Socialist anti-American persuasion are selected to serve on America's most sensitive select committees? Smith has served on the following select committees;

House Foreign Affairs Committee
House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence
House Armed Services Committee
Chaired the Subcommittee on Air and Land Forces (ALF)
Subcommittee Terrorism, Unconventional Threats and Capabilities (TUTC)

The ALF subcommittee has jurisdiction of all Army and nearly all Air Force acquisition programs, while TUTC oversees the nationís Special Operations Forces and counter-terrorism policy, among other critical areas. During the last Congress, Adam also served on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, where he was responsible for overseeing and funding the intelligence community and intelligence-related activities and programs of the United States government.

Biography

[Cold War period when names from graves were used to establish identities for birth certificates].

As with Obama we do not really know Adam Smith's place of birth __ "why not Russian Embassy"?

Supposedly Adam Smith was born on June 15, 1965, in Washington, D.C. Adopted as an infant, he was raised in SeaTac, Washington [Liberal/Socialist pro-Russian _ King County] where his father, Ben, worked as a ramp serviceman at SeaTac Airport [perfect cover] and was active in the [perfect cover] local Machinistsí Union. His mother, Leila, stayed at home, raising Adam and his two brothers.

What prompted Adam Smith to become a Liberal/Socialist politician and commit treason?

Dan Collins, that's nuts.

Money redirected from the Military to other areas of Government is not being put into terrorism or communism or the brotherhood. It's being used to shore up deficit areas.

It doesn't matter where somebody was born, it matters where they are now.

Be positive, do something nice for a stranger. Stop focusing on the negative! Smile! Wave at your neighbors when you see them. If you can spare it give a generous tip. Read self improvement books. Don't dwell on things you have no control over. If your going through a rough patch remember nothing is forever and it shall pass. Talk to a Veteran. Call your MOM! If you can't reach her physically you can always use knee mail. Hug your kids/pets! Say I love you day in day out! If you get good service fill out the comment card! WASHINGTON STATE!!! feels good to say it out loud! I love my state! I love the people!

I love Washington!!!! I lived in Kennewick and went to Seattle numerous times....

The people are nice on the east side... I really enjoyed myself while I worked there... Yes it's home to many and I call it home...

No I do like the politics in this state.... Way way too many tree huggers on the west sine, yet I don't see them " being green " I see those folks as hypocrites...

For the most part the place is beautiful and Washington has the most beautiful women I've ever seen... If I were single I'd go to Washington!!!

I have lived through out the south and north and I'm going to say that Washington is awesome and a great place to live, but I wish the folks on the west side were not so radical.....

I'm a Washington native, and I straight up hate it here, Its the worst possible place for someone who wants to be out doors year round doing fun things. It's grey all year except July-August and the weather affects me so much. I want to live in Southern California most awesome place in the mainland of the U.S. And get this sense you can't do anything outdoors you have to just spend money all the time because everything you ever do is indoors paying to do something. Its horrible. And the people, are generally nice I must say, but everyone is so normal, everyone looks alike and dresses alike theirs no uniqueness, except in Seattle but now all there is, is potheads chillin everywere. And gay parades every other day. for example right now its been rain everyday for the last two weeks, and the forcast is rain for the next ten days! listen to me, trust me, unless you get to travel alot DO NOT move here.
