Man, shooting to death a guy you already took down with a taser and because he was acting crazy? I could see it if the dude had a gun but a freak'n knife? I doubt he was running at anybody with it. Just another excuse for Seattle police to get away with murder. And the great thing about it?
They ALWAYS get paid leave while it's being investigated lol Pays to be a cop in Seattle in more ways than one.
They handled it wrong. They should have continued to taser him until more then one cop could have jumped him and put him in cuffs. You don't shoot people to death unless they guy is coming right at you with a weapon (which they will probably lie about).
You wanna fix the problem America? Spend some fucking $$$$ on better mental health care.
Cheap ass bastards. I feel sorry for the guy and his family. Cops are getting way out of control these days.

And burning his own truck is no reason to murder the dude. It's HIS truck you idiots and it wasn't harming anyone else while it was burning right? He was just acting crazy and scared people, Once you taser a guy keep tasering him until he's subdued you stupid fools.

So now I read that the officer said his taser DID NOT WORK!
What a lie to cover their asses for murder. And if in fact the taser DID NOT WORK is this what the Seattle PD does nowadays is to send out troopers with FAULTY equipment? This poor mentally ill man (if that's what he was suffering from ) lost his life because the stupid Seattle PD sends out officers with broken equipment.
I don't buy into any of that I think they are just trying to cover their asses for this killing and this is an excuse to justify the shooting.
HEY MRS NEW POLICE CHIEF! Why don't you make your officers check their damn equipment before sending them out on the road and end up being put in a situation where they have to take somebody's life huh?
This is just another example of the Seattle PD getting away with murder..literally. I seriously don't know how these officers can sleep at night knowing they take lives like this when if he simply would have checked his equipment before his shift started the man could have been saved.
Back to the'ol west I guess.
Not only do we now have to protect ourselves from people invading our homes and mugging uson the streets now we have to protect ourselves from law enforcement acting irrationally and not taking responsibility for neglecting their weapons to make sure they function properly so we don't get killed.
The family should sue their asses off because that taser did not function. It's their job to make sure their equipment works not ours but that's how the Seattle PD deals with the mentally ill...

Seattle Police are Cowardly Murdering Punks. These Punks are enjoying murdering people. I am sure there will be payback for this one. Hear me Homey. My Taser is not working either. If Seattle Punk so much as approaches me it will not be working.

Time to start booby-trapping our homes. Give a bunch of under 30's a handful of weapons and they think they're Clint Eastwood. Underneath that badge they are nothing but cowards like you said. And the butches! God, we have one running the whole show now.
*Blah* makes me sick.

The again I don't condone payback at all but the SPD needs to be held accountable for these needless murders. Their must have been eyewitnesses to the shooting but no matter. I love channel 4 news they reported it as "the officer tased the man but when that didn't work" so how they love to leave out the vital details to justify a killing? The news is also responsible for not reporting the truth to the public and they have this mans blood on their hands as well as far as I am concerned.
