Saying that an obscure county council will keep Big Coal corralled, is like saying Big Coal doesn't run many state gov'ts.......blindness to what is true, & a blind belief in the little guy, which America never was!

Yes, I'm sure a billion people will in China will decide to stop using electricity based on the Whatcom County election. That makes perfect sense.

All Bellingham is going to do is make the jobs and money associated with sending coal to China go somewhere else. China is not going to stop using coal because people in Bellingham disapprove.
