I stay away from samsung

UK

#44 Jun 7, 2011
Samsung TV's may give a good picture but I have had a bad experience. I bought a Samsung plasma TV for £950. I had this TV for 2 years and its turns off and on (cycles). Checked the capacitors no obvious problems.

Samsung has

1. Bad customer service
2. There TV's are rubbish

I do understand that electrics can go wrong but to pay £950 and for it to only last 2 years is ridiculous. Further no support from there customer service - even if they had told me that this is a common problem and it can definitely addressed within a fixed price I would have been happy. Very very bad customer service I have experienced in a long time.

I will never ever get a Samsung product ever again. So you can get extended warranty but even then the TV shouldn't break down in 2 years.

Samsung electronics in my opinion have over priced products remember they use the cheapest components, better off to pay a little more (only a little more) and get a better brand. There TV's should be half the price of the next better brand which ever that may be.

Samsung cheap cheap cheap. Sort out your prices!! sort out your customer service, sort out your manufacturing.

Will never buy a Samsung product again. Samsung does not even exist for me any more. You have to be a idiot to buy anything (they had problem with there fridge freezers at some point) Samsung.

I will NEVER BUY a SAMSUNG product, no matter how cheap! There is a reason that it is cheap....it sucks! I tell everyone not to buy that Korean Krap! They have no loyalty to their customers or products. I bought a front loader washer and dryer and both broke after 1.75 yrs. No cust cvs help or assistance. PLEASE DO NOT BUY SAMSUNG. Spend the extra few dollars and get ANY OTHER BRAND!

Koreans are very rude indeed. Had a Korean neighbor, a female... OMG!!! She's been evicted by the owner after I moved out after her weird abuse of the walls and meat chopping noice at 6 AM! Buy Japanese instead, but I would not recommend SONY or BROTHER as well. Total SCAM.

Ahhhh, I will add my rant...LCD Tv bought in November of 2009. Within 9 months I was calling because the screen was black and only had sound. It was still under "warranty" (YAYYYY N'T). But they initially expected me to foot the shipping bill which I finally got them to do. Almost exactly 1 year later...Same GD problem. This time they were not nearly as helpful and of course it was my fault for not letting them extort my money on their extended warranty. What happened to a product like a TV lasting 10 years. Anyways, customer service did nothing and I gave them an earful about spreading the word on their incompetent products and service. I will never buy a Samsung product again. I have a letter in to corporate, but it sounds like that will get me nowhere as well....Hope I am wrong!

SAMSUNG SUCKS i am on my third 61" led dlp tv in 7 months and this one just lost all color they wont back it up it is a piece of crap
I absolutely agree with you. I bought a Samsung 46" LCD just over a year ago. I have a continuous flickering on my screen. I called Samsung "trust worthy" customer support and was told that because it was out of its one year warranty I would have to pay just to find out what is wrong with it! WTF!!!!! I didn't pay several thousand dollars to watch tv for a year! I could have bought a piece of crap for less money and it probably would have lasted longer! I am not going to pay money to a company that already got mine for something that isn't worth a damn!! I will never buy another Samsung product again. In fact I am going to get rid of every Samsung product I have! BUYER BEWARE, SAMSUNG SUCKS!

There are no words in the English language to properly describe how bad I hate Samsung customer service. After suffering for many years with poor customer service from Whirlpool, I decided to make the switch to Samsung upon the referral of a Lowes employee. I needed a refrigerator after my less than 5 year old Whirlpool died so I shelled out $1500 for a bottom freezer Samsung. Since then, we have bought Samsung HE front loading washer and dryer, Samsung dishwasher, a couple of Samsung computer monitors, two Samsung cell phones, and a Samsung microwave. 2 months short of the refrigerators 3rd birthday, the icemaker stopped working. Long story short, after wasting several hours on the phone with customer service, they refuse to send a $30 part to repair my icemaker so that I could do the repair myself. After going all the way up to the supervisor's supervisor, I got the same answer....NO. I'll gladly spend the rest of my life bashing Samsung customer service and their products. I will never buy another Samsung product as long as I live and will tell everyone I come in contact how bad they suck.$30 would have been a small investment on their part to avoid the much larger loss in sales that they will experience because of this. I'm thinking of starting a website called www.samsungsucks.com

Samsung not only screws you they do not respond or care about your problem. A jacked up useless double door fridge.
In Houston their service people NISI work from a Storage unit outside of Houston and pretend it is a branch. First instance of spoiled food took 4 weeks to get someone out..then another week to bring the part not covered by warranty.. a sensor..that was in August..it is November.,,same shit..broke again. No response from service, regional or corporate complaints..they simply do care the sold my family a $1000. junk refrigerator. Fuck them..I will hurt their business every time I can. I believe they are American hating Korean bastards.

Don't buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for Xmas.
My tablet stopped working before six months. Samsung France say they can't do anything about it. They just sent me back the dead machine after keeping it for two weeks. Since it was not acquired in Europe, they say they will not replace it.
The day I went to the local shop to deposit it, there were several other Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 there, waiting to be repaired. They told me they have apparently an important number of hardware failures for a device that is barely 6 months old.
When chosing between the Galaxy Tab 10.1 and the iPad, people should consider the lower hardware reliability of the Samsung device. I like Android, but I am coming to dislike Samsung. I previously also had problems with their phones.
Pass the word: The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a fragile device, with a limited lifetime. Consider buying an iPad or if you want an Android (nice system made by Google), try a non Samsung hardware.

I bought a top-of-the-line Samsung washer and dryer pair. While it was still within warranty the main control board on the washer went out. Samsung first said they would send a repairman. Then said they did not service my area (???) They then said it was out of warranty. Then they said that if I would pay for the service call they would pay for the part. I finally gave up. I bought the part and put it in myself. I have bought several Samsung products in the past - NEVER AGAIN. Note: I sent this review in to both Lowes and Samsung. Lowes posted it and Samsung refused saying that it related to customer service rather than the product itself (!?) Go figure.

Contacted Samsung from their site and didn't received even the confirmation. So many people complain about WiFi problems with their Android phones and they do nothing. You cannot even access their site in different language than the Country's language, ex. there is only Greece-Greek, France-French so foreigners cannot contact local support. So stupid.
NEVER BUY SAMSUNG AGAIN.

I bought a SAMSUNG TV about 3 years ago. It worked great for about 2 years, this last year it's been having a hard TIME turning it's self on. Sometimes takes 2 - 4 hours. Today it's been 12 hours and it's still not on. I also bought a DVD player of SAMSUNGS a while back and it has a hard time reading the disk's, it just spits them back out. Im finished with SAMSUNG and hope you people who read this will be forwarned. Oh and "Jerry from Miami, FL" Just wait a little while, you will change your comment and opinion about SAMSUNG as well.
There is a recall on some models of Samsung LCD TV's. Its the old Capacitor blowout problem. I had mine fixed for free.

DLP TV 2 years old just out of the blue started turning itself off and on - Samsung support (joke) advised me it's out of warranty - call a service repair expert.$$$$$ just to walk in the door. Sad state of affairs for Americans - we just keep taking the crap. What happened to us?

Honestly thought I got a better product from them. Had no problems with my Galaxy Player I bought from Best Buy. How today the touchscreen buttons and the touchscreen itself has stopped working. Won't respond to any touches or anything. Should have know it was too good to be true. As soon as I get the money I'm getting an iPod or something better.
