Yeah, he worked at AOL and from my memory "Bill" and the General Manager at the time "Mr Green" were fired because they were inappropriately using managers bonus money. I call that embezellment, but I will be careful not to slander anyone. Bill Filancia was a service delivery Manager ( The Managers Manager). Our bonus money was being used to finance his private flights and hotel rooms while he was out of town. Needless to say the next bonus check I received after both of their departure, went up by $1400. Afterwards, Bill was working at an Italian Pizzeria with his esteemed cohorts that were let go from AOL for the same reason. Personally, I say he deserves what he gets, after the thousands that he cost me from my income.
Yep, Dennis Green was an as shole. I worked in Saves, Rollover, and Billing.

The punishment should fit the crime!!! Dawgs. Try to read past the line!!! The guy should not set another foot on this earth!! His punishment should be a form of lengthy torture. Teach such criminals a valuable lesson and make them think twice!! Signed the so called Village Idiot!
I read between the lines...eye for an eye is not what this POS needs. He apparently gets off on the sadistic, torture, sex roll playing. I agree he needs disappear from society...a glock between the legs first (just for fun) and after he's been in agony for a while, a glock between they eyes. I take that back...glock between the legs and watch him suffer...why put him out of his misery? Also, you're not a village idiot...sorry!

I know Bill personally and it is "ladies" like these that are falsely accusing him of acts that they freely participated in....There are 2 sides to every story.
You do not know shit about Bill then personally. The true story is he will get what is coming to him..

Whoa...Very rarely do I read a story that scares the hell out of me. This one does. Glad I don't know this guy, and I don't know anyone like him.
I can only imagine...probably starts out by him offering you a beer, then a little coke...wondering why is this guy being so nice to me. Then you wake up and Bill has you chained to the wall. Thats scarry. I second Scott's comment, one of us would be dead...and at that point I wouldn't care if it were me.
Hang this guy...or give out his personal info and let the people handle it.
Makes me wonder what were the chain of events that led up to the victims precarious situation of even being there?? Now that would be news I would like to hear!

<quoted text>ALL the managers at AOL were perverted. When I worked there ('98 -'00), I called them the Velvet Mafia. Don't remember this one though.
I would agree that there where some bad coaches at AOL including Bill and few other I will not name. However not all coaches or ex coaches should be grouped with someone of Bill's character. I was an AOL coach at that time, and my no means should myself or the other good coaches be placed into the same catagory as Bill! But I will say that I never like Bill, and now I know the reason why!!! Always felt scummy around him.

I gotta stop reading these forums. I'm starting to get the uneasy feeling that there are only a few normal people left in the Jacksonville area, if I can put any stock in the veracity of what I read here.

I recall something Steven Seagal's character said in "Marked For Death" (and this may not be verbatim): "Leave it alone, man. You can't do anything about it. But when it touches your family, you bite off its head." He was referring to drugs but I extend it to crime and perversion. Stay away from me and mine and we won't have any trouble.

My sentiments exactly. For criminals, Jacksonville has come to be what Los Angeles has become for illegal immigrants - a safe harbor. Stay away from me or I will trade what little bit of freedom I have left in eliminating you from this earth.
