[THATS SAD]

i dont know what caused them to do what they did, but its sad. im guessing, with prices rising with gas,food and just about everything. life must of become too hard to go on. probally heath issuses as well as rising cost of everything.

MAN..i hope that the one shot first was in on the plan..if so, it is sad that very ill people have to resort to this since our goverment is too short sighted to see the need for death with dignity laws and compassionate euthenasia....

this is one of the saddest stories i have read, i can understand that someone with a life threating illness could take a toll one you. but was their know other way out? i am so sad for the two. and the family they left behind. GOD BLESS THEM.

Sad... We treat animals and criminals with more dignity by putting them to sleep.. If I am diagnosed with a non curable disease I will definitely end it before suffering and causing my family grief... You would think that insurance companies would be all for it... Your family can't collect when suicide is involved...

God Bless the families! I live in the neighborhood, and we are all very shocked! I think sometimes it's just too hard for people to go on suffering. Whose to blame others what they choose to do with their own lives. RIP

My thoughts and prayers are with Dennis' family. He was a kind, warm and hard-working co-worker. While we do not know the nature of his wife's illness, it must have been only out of love and caring for her that Dennis felt this was his only solution. There must be another answer for allowing death with dignity.

it takes a really selfish person to want someone to remain in their misery so you won't have to feel sad!!

personally if I thought I could have got away with it I would have "helped" my g.mother out of her misery watching some one die of stomache cancer for 18 months is NOT fun for anyone but mainly her.........the thing is my sympathy is for the ones left behind and that have to face the problems. I hope that the parents at least put all their affiars in order and LEFT notes for each child.

God bless the family and friends of this couple...if only our government would understand that people in certain health situations should be able to decide when they have suffered enough, then these events would not take place like this. the ill person and their doctors and family could decide when they are ready and go peacefully and with compassion and not have to resort to something painful like this..and it would give the family a chance to say goodbye in a proper manner.
