You are a scumbag. Why would you even ask that question? Are you racist? Of course you are, or you wouldn't have subjected anyone in this forum to such verbal vomit. You have effectively regressed, socially, fifty years. Most of the people with whom I speak only care if the man, 1) does a good job as an educator, and 2) has a real interest in the welfare of the students. Have you even spoken with the new AD before you judge his character? Would you want people to judge you without getting to know you?

By-the-way, your last AD was all those things about which you asked, and look where that got you.

I don't mind if someone speaks their mind as long it doesn't degrade everyone in this community. You're right though; they have a right to post whether I agree, or not, but I also have an absolute right to be harsh to racist scumbags who are angry because the new AD isn't hispanic. I don't care if anyone understands our "community" as long as he, or she, understands what is best for children. If that criteria is met, then everything else falls into place. Parents are responsible for understanding the community in which they, and their children, live. I also take issue with even questioning whether, or not, the new AD understands our "community" when the person asking the question probably doesn't know his background. He may understand our "community" better than the idiot questioning him.

Put a comma after harsh, and a question mark after not. Also, you should have a comma after sir, and ma'am, and another question mark after judge. Maybe if you learned how to communicate, you could understand my method of comminication.

The new AD Coach Kilby is a great man and coach from what I have seen. This man, along with his coaching staff ARE going to be GREAT INFLUENCES on our athletes. I see it happening.
His excitement and passion can not only be seen but felt. I am excited to see it all unfold as soon as high school sports start.

Who cares what skin color he is!!
It's his experience and his passion for the game and for his athletes that matters!

I hate to see good coaches come and go. I graduated from Mathis in 1995. I've been coaching in Cuero for the past 6 yrs and understand the game really well. I want to be AD for Mathis one of these days. I know that I could be a huge influence on those kids. I'm saying right now if this coach doesn't do a good job which I know he will and his staff. I would love to coach there and help Mathis get back to the State game. I remember when Mathis was always going to the playoffs and the town would go crazy. I've coach for a great team Cuero Gobblers(sorry we scored so many points) but if they were to give me a chance to coach there I would take that job in a heartbeat. I dont care how much they pay me.

I haven't met the new AD, but I do know most of the kids, my son is one of them. I plan to support the Pirates and their coaches, and I urge all of Mathis to do the same. Bad-mouthing the coach doesn't help our kids. Go Pirates Beat Odem.
