Its a shame that this school would take advantage of people already struggling financialy and charge them 3x's the price of the schooling. Galiana Career Academy tried pulling the same thing not to long ago here is the link. samething.http://www.clickorla ndo.com/education/22527316/det ail.html

It sounds like everyone lost out here.. students and teachers. I read that Dr. Angley would sell the school if he had to..to pay any outstanding debts..What's being done to correct this problem.. does anyone know?

Alot of people are upset and with goodreason.

i wet to angley in 04 and come to find out they took nther loan out on me!...when i enrolled i worked in a daycare where i made from 170.-215.twice a month so they told me i got a pell grant and sally mea and books and everything inc.the first month of being lined up and held up from your class just to pay them a fee i didnt know where it came from they said it was the diffrance from the loan left over.the first two classes books were free then u find urself thinking about paying bills or feeding your family or buck it and spend it on a book like they say later on it will pay off, long story short for 4 years i had to prove i completed the program ,my given grades(it pays off sometime to be a pack rat .paper speeks for its self...i kept it all and they funny thing they had e under the wrong program too)i couldnt get a job in the medical world cause future employers was being told i never completed and i am still paying back a 10,000 doller oan tuned to almost a 30,000 all for nothing after 4 years of fighing credit collects to get angley to pay back that 06 loan but you know what they ripped hope out of me cause i wanted that so bad i walked a cross town to bring my kid to school then walk across town agan to drop off a 2nd child then wak to school on time.
Now i got bad credit and to pay back a loan that i have nothing toshow for it ....i can prove my words
You need to contact you loan providers and let them know what happen, and ask for "Loan Forgiviness" or just make a report with the Board of Education. Its really to bad they did this to you. Good luck with the false loans and debt they stuck you with.

Hey lets give everyone a laptop, but the students have to pay for it. I didnt pay $15,000 for a laptop they might not give me! What the hell!! Now the want to give us E-Books! I want the money for the books I paid for, not some e-book I can get for free online!!
1) How much money did you ever hand Angley College? I'm guessing zero. The truth is probably that the hard-working financial aid staff at Angley College worked diligently to get you government funds, grants, loans...and if that didn't do, they probably offered you a very convenient payment plan for only the remaining amount. How much of that "remaining amount" have you actually paid?

2) I encourage you to show us all where you can find an Angley College approved etext online for free, because you can't.

3) The people who are complaining about this school being ghetto...you enrolled in a school which clearly says "NO HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED REQUIRED". Did you think you were going to be granted access to particle accelerators and be surrounded by Rhodes scholars?

4) The people who work at Angley College do it because they want to make a POSITIVE difference in the community. The circumstances which the college currently are in are COMPLETELY OUTSIDE THE CONTROL OF THE CURRENT STAFF AND FACULTY. Everyone who is still working at Angley College is doing so because they care about their students and their community. They live next to you, buy groceries in the same stores as you, and face the same very real financial perils. Give them a break.

I must say knowsthetruth is correct.
There are so many people working there butts off for students because they beleive in them! I some of you put half as much effort into your education as you do gossip and rumors you would be honor roll students with a bright future.
As a dedacaited Angley College instructor I can honestly say I have gone out of my way and so have others to provide you the opertunity to grow and be productive sucessful individuals so please concentrate on your education and let us deal with the rest

Stacy, please check your spelling. That looks bad for an instuctor. It shows that the College is lacking professional instructors.
