What makes you think I haven't been? I merely suggested that she channel her feelings elsewhere because this is not the place for sympathy, it is a news forum. Honestly, I'm not sure why YOU even bothered to comment on something you weren't involved in.
What makes me think you haven't been there because anyone who has been there wouldn't act the way you are. Anyone with any sense could see that this is just a bashing board for ignorant people. I was raised if you have nothing good to say about someone DON'T say ANYTHING at all!!! Especially the dead where did you learn respect? Apparently you didn't. And I hope this never happens to you because you have no idea how it feels.
Why don't you find a cause and go out and try to do something to help someone instead of wasting your time hurting people. I'm sure your local church could help you with that or maybe join a rescue squad or organization where you are doing some good for people.

Interesting how you don't follow your own advice. What right do YOU have to judge anyone. My comments were not meant to hurt, go back and you will see that. Perhaps you should take a deep breath and think, is this the right thing to do on a news board?

Barrack Obama.....that comment was totally uncalled for. You are a sick person and erin is right karma will come to get you one day.

My best friend lost her sister in a tragic accident on I-4 5 years ago and she was on the phone with her and heard her last breathes...so I find nothing funny about that comment. Maybe you should get a life instead of bashing poeple that cannot be here to defend themselves

Looks like Karma already wiped out three of your friends. If you believe in Karma please let us in on what your friends did to piss Karma off so bad that it wiped them out.

It was nice of you to tell her where she should channel her feelings. Clearly thinking for herself isn't necessary when she has you to do her thinking for her. AND I bothered to comment because the dead driver was my cousin and the woman you are offering your NOT NEEDED opinions to is also my cousin, therefore I AM involved.

However I find it interesting you should call this a news forum as I haven't seen any fact based comments like statistics to back up the OPINIONS that dominate this blog. But, hey, clearly it needs to be repeated that seatbelts should have been worn because those comments are making all the difference now that they're all dead!

I suggest the lot of you morons log off, sit down with your families and remind THEM the importance of a seatbelt and sober driving so you won't ever have to experience this grief, which I now have unfortunately experienced twice in 8 years. Life is too short to pass judgement and initiate ridicule on others' actions and words.

Sorry to inform you of the obvious but The Orlando Sentinel (or Slantinel as we locals have come to call it) is a newspaper, therefore, this IS a news board. The purpose of the board is to discuss the STORY. It is not a memorial page or the likes but a place to discuss the issues at hand. Time and time again we have seen family members come onto a news board becoming upset over posts that they feel personally insult them. This is not a constructive thing to do when grieving and only makes things harder. Rather than see her continue to rant, I sugested she walk away and stay closer to her family. I hope that she did so as this is a difficult time. What I don't understand is your need to condemn soemone you don't know. As I have said to the others, this is a news forum, if you don't want to be offended, look away. The End.

If this is a news forum it should be based on facts and not opinions. It is easy to offer information to other people when you don't have all the facts or haven't been in there place. If this is how you people view the news it is sick. People should never dwell on others misfortune. Do unto others as you would like other to do unto you.

Do you not understand the concept of free speech? I appreciate your values but again, your last line says a lot and totally defeats the argument...in other words...leave well enough alone.
