How about adding to this story.
Along N. Leavitt Ave. in Orange City, the O.C. Elementary school kids have to walk from E. Minnesota to E. New York Aves. on a dirt road that gets under water in places after a heavy rain, has no where (in places) for the kids to go to get out of the way of a vehicle, no sidewalks, and NO speed limit. It's a private road that the school system has decided that the kids can use that come from the NE side of Orange City. NO speed limit. The cars can go 50 mph and, according to the guy that's in charge of transportation with the school system, I was more or less told - so what! He couldn't care less about how dangerous it can be. It's sickening to see how you did a story about the others when these kids are in an even more dangerous situation and nobody seems to give a damn.
