More businesses for Orange City and still nothing for Deltona. We have the most people and nothing for them. It's got to be our reputation.

Reputation, crime , the look and feel of the city , language barriers , decrepit neighborhoods , abandoned houses , stores that are fronts for drug gangs , terrible leaders, business unfriendly atmosphere I could go on , but if you havent noticed this city is a total mess..I dont think Ive bothered to actually enter anyfurthur into deltona (i live on the edge of orange city) in 4 years ..Their is nothing in this city I cant drive 5 min away to get with a higher quality of people..have you seen the garbage shopping at the old albertsons (PUBLIX)on saxon? Its a total sh*t show, they just busted some pr trash from across the road selling drugs in the wendys parking lot..the only purpose deltona serves is a place to learn spanish and catch a pill habit. personally I normally shop in heathrow, Lake mary ,and orange city..Even shopping in the worst parts of sanford is better than this hovel. Worst mistake ever buying here. And I can Only blame myself

when are the city fathers going to let the residents tie their goats up out front? this would give deltona some real third world appeal.

Section 8s, illegals , and trailer trash basically sums up deltona. the older residents are dying and their kids are renting the homes for almost no money because ANYONE with a little money, basic intelligence and class move elsewhere. This city is done. the theater is a joke , the people who live here for the most part are the lowest common denominator. Im in (as vcso told me ) the last good part of deltona ,and I cant take the trash that keeps moving in. Ive lost so much on my home I cant afford to sell. Im tired of the pr front lawn cookouts till all hours of the night , the sec 8s that are constantly screaming at their kids, the illegal shop up the block with drug dealers out side all the time . EF THIS CITY, when I can break even Ill NEVER come near deltona again. good riddance to rubbish .

dont get me wrong ..their are some mad cool people in deltona , just that so much trash has moved in here over the past few years its ruining everyone's perception, and Im just as guilty as generalizing ..their are good folks here , but these days its the rose amongst weeds..I have some great neighbors , but they are the minority between the gang drug dealers at each end of the block...summers here, soon enough the late night parties and fights will start again..AHHH the fun that is deltona. Long as no bullets come this way its entertaining at least

lived in Deltona for a few years in a very nice quiet neighborhood and just a few streets over lowlife thugs, now reside Debary in a very nice quiet neighborhood, and guess what, just a few streets over, thugs! Everywhere you go, their will be trashy people who don't keep up with their yards or higher class of living like the ones in gated DGCC or gated Glen Abbey! guess what, you have some trashy people in those places also, they just hide it well dictated by their hoa, permiision to plant a tree, ha, permission to build a nice storage shed, ha, permission to change out your front door, ha. No thanks.

I love it in Deltona, everytime I need a Spanish lesson, I go down to the Deltona YMCA. What's nice, is they speak loud enough so you can hear over all the machines. Very enjoyable.

Most of that shopping center is vacant with no renters in sight. There are a ton of shopping centers with half of the units empty, why the hell build new centers that are just going to be vacant.

They move here from the ghettos of NY and Puerto Rico......you can take the Puerto Rican out of the ghetto but the ghetto will always be in the Puerto Rican.

I wish I could say its just ricans, its basically all of these 3rd world hovel people ..And the reason they are moving from NY and most other places (ny, jersey , detroit, chicago) is the cop to person ratios. In NY you have 32 cops per like 10000 people , where as here you have 1 cop per 12000 give or take ..crime is easier to commit here than up north and they are well aware of it .They are taking full advantage of a dying economic system . We have big city problems here with old world thinking ..just dont work. I wish I could say I saw a brighter future for deltona and the rest of florida, but as the moving company my buddy works for said , their is a mass white exodus out of florida due to crime and no work. So unless our new Gov instates a new law to get rid of Illegals , and starts better funding the police depts , the Police will stay overwhelmed , and the crime rates will keep going up..I really like living here , but honestly I see no future in florida as a whole ..

And lets include the pill heads and trailer trash in the equation. they are not helping the area at all either ..now that everything is for rent every piece of inbred trailer trash is moving to deltona. I have to listen to my neighbors generator going 24-7 so he can run his illegal shop and drug dealing operation from his rental. Im trying so hard to keep a positive attitude but when I keep looking at all this crap Its hard

While I think your comments are a bit overboard and a tad racist.. there is, unfortunately, a kernel of truth to them.
