Planning ideas for Daytona Beach can be an interesting way to pass the time. Gas prices have people staying home more. With Jim Chisholm coordinating the ideas its difficult to expect much, but ideas for Daytona Beach are there. Read some of the ideas that I'v added comment if you like. There just a few thoughts.

Daytona has a people problem, new buildings will not help. as long as you have those repulsive parasites hanging around Daytona it will stay in decline mode.people make neighborhoods.

If someone took the time & wrote on every wall that people really suck, how long would it take for you to believe it? irresponsible journalism is a major problem. It's only one side of reality. The negative side. Not enough attention is paid to the things that are being fixed. Only an idiot would agree with someone that wants to be right about how wrong everything is !!

You're right everyone should shut up about the negative bad influences and happenings so nothing will be done about them and they will continue to get worse. We all should keep our heads buried in the sand. Journalist don't make the news they report it. I see them report the good as well as the bad. Report only good news and fool people into a false sense of everything is OK.So who's the idiot?

Get ready, I've seen in the crystal ball (HUD/FEMA) some of the finer citizens that are being displaced by the Midwest flooding & tornado's will be heading to the Daytona area.

The whole county needs God's help. We import and catered to low lifers in Deltona. What is needed is to kick the old timers out of office that have made these cities and county a freakin mess. How did all this become about Daytona, it's the Deltona forum? The census shows the population is larger now on the westside about time somebody did something for us.

Volusia cities consider makeover. The whole county needs help. That's the right idea. My previous point, about news reports was simply stated. To be more specific the news is resulting in negative comments. If those negative comments are not bringing about some type of change, then ideas need too! Volusia county needs change not just Daytona Beach. Political office needs change. An artical about money being spent to renovate the tourist areas, with no news on how the money will be spent is in itself an insult to public interest. Every point has a counterpoint.
