It is quite apparent that you are not from Oran because if you were, you would know how to spell! It's their not there. Oh, and you also said you "would" move in that dis. Bet you weren't meaning to put that..hahaha! And by the way, how do you street a kid??(right not write) If you have never lived here, you really shouldn't assume that it is a bad place to live.

You don't know as much as you think. Yes I went there way do you think my spelling is so bad. I hate that school you must be one of those that is teaching there or at least one of those but kisser. You need to set back and hear what people think of that school and it is not berry good. So before you put down how someone spells you mite want to see what school they did go to. It mite just be the one you are holding up for smart ass.

I'm torn in the middle when it comes to the school. Their quality of teaching is way above the average level. They could use more teachers if the budget allowed, to ensure all students understand in class. I do disagree with their nutrition system, and believe something should change. Students are hardly getting any food, mind how tasteless it is. Also, the way they dictate their students into reading dozens of books and reaching such high requirements that gives them no time for homework/home life without worrying about receiving detentions if not making them requirement is none sense. I agree with cell phone restrictions, just not 8th hours every offense. When it comes down to it, everyone depends on the Administration, and it would probably be a good thing if the school reconnected with their beliefs, and took their freedoms the right way. A more open minded and experienced high school principal is needed. Someone who is a Christian with good faiths and beliefs.

I think overall, as far as small public schools go it's not that bad. They do have a few teachers that have no business teaching, but they have some really awesome teachers too. The band teacher needs to chill and not yell so much at the kids. His behavior does not set a good example to the students and it only makes them want to quit band. A reason the band is smaller than in the past. Just chill. They need to get a better handle on bullying. I think they are oblivious to what goes on and some teachers need to run a tighter ship to keep bullying opportunities in check. The Principal: was a horrible teacher. So far he seems to be trying to be a better principal. I've not bought into him completely but at least giving him a chance. As far as having a "Christian with good faiths and beliefs" that's B.S. Religion shouldn't play a part in their school. Besides I've seen enough good "Christians" to know just because they talk the talk doesn't mean they walk the walk. Not to mention, and God forbid, we get a Devout Catholic. We'd be doing mass and forcing alcohol down kids' throats there. No thanks.

The teachers need to quit bulling to. I'm not saying all of them do that, But there are some of them that do. I do agree that they do need to quit giving 8th hours for little things they think paint's don't have things for there kids to do after school.

It doesn't matter the size of a school. It matters on how it operates, and I am not saying our current principal is not a Christian, I'm saying the Administration itself should be giving all students every opportunity available, no matter what faith or religion or race. I do be religion should involved within a principals life, and anyone who claims to be a Christian.

What is up with that teacher Bucher. He is a 24 year old bully he keeps his crap up a parent is going to put him in his place. I am tired of oran teachers thinking they can do what they want and get away with it. It doesn't help when you have idiot people backing him

Judging from the hatefulness and poor writing skills posted on here, the school system really has its work cut out for it. A school system can only do so much, when the student comes from home with the bad attitudes and weak skills of his/her parents.
As far as the criticism about how much reading students are required to do, if the parents had been required to do that much reading when they were in high school, they probably wouldn't be spelling "guest" as "gest," and "punish" as "pudiese."

my spelling is not the problem. it's this damn out-correct on my phone. and i believe that's a lot of people's problems here. and it has nothing to do with how a parent spells. it's important to these parents and for myself that our children are getting the right education and treatment. we as parents always want better for our children than what we had as a child. so i really get sad that people want to attack somebody with that person's weaknesses. i bet if they could change it they would. maybe some people are just too lazy and rather not. who cares. this topic was made to discuss our children. so stop being so judgmental on other parents and help them

It would be better if the state would let the parents send there kids to what ever school they see fit. Do a way with school districts. That way every one can be happy. That way the schools would do there best to make every one happy. Just think of it this way we pay taxes to pay thin so that said they work for you that makes you there boss not the there way.
