If it wasn't for the city workers you would be gripping about the water not being fixed. They deserve to get overtime pay . A lot of people in this town doesn't appreciate a lot of things that they do do. A lot of people in this town is always looking for a reason to be negative and bitch a fit. That one of the things wrong with the people in this town. Never satisfied and bitch bitch bitch. How would you like to leave from spending time with your family or leave your other job to fix a water line breakage so the people in this town will have water. You wouldn't be very happy at all. You would bitch yourself to death BC of it. But THE CITY WORKERS. didnt they went and fixed the problem.

The people in this town wouldn't be satisfied if they didn't have someone or something to talk shit about or complain. It's a never ending thing and its always negativity that goes on and on and on.people are not happy unless they have something to talk about!!

The city knew about this water leak for weeks and couldnt be bothered to fix it so instead they wait till it busts and then have to go and fix it. EVERYONE that works over 40 hours deserves overtime however when they know of a problem and do nothing to solve it why should we have to pay for their mistake! Our water bills are bad enough already for water you can't drink, can't wash white clothes in and ruins appliances we don't need anything to make it go higher sorry if that offends you but sometimes the truth hurts

We don't even know for a fact our water bill will be any higher. I'm kinda thinking everyone's will be the same cause then they would have everyone in town on there ass. So how bout everyone shut up! They got the problem fixed and we don't know the facts. So lets all read our bills then we can complain! They worked hard to get the problem fixed that's all we can freaken ask for! UNGRATEFUL ass people!!!

I am sure those of you that say all we do is bitch are the city workers who get paid to take care of these issues. If you dont like your job get another one. Once when they were flushing the lines i asked for them to stop so that i could get ready for work and i was told by the city worker if we would stop complaining about the water they wouldn't have to flush the lines. If you would make sure we had clean water no one would complain. The water today looks and smells no different to me than it does every day.

So our water bill has doubled and the water still sucks . They were supposed to start water lines and all this stuff fixed with a grant so why has our water got worse and still no work but just higher water bills . And about our city workers you can go out behind the water treatment plant on a sunny day and see shannon h. And others out there hitting golf balls with there little flags set up so do we really want to feel sorry for there sorry asses. I really believe this why our other wAter man Eric got let go and he was a lot damn better

I don't feel it is to much to ask to have clean, safe water for everyone in the city. We should not have to go out and buy water softners just so we can do laundry without ruining it, have a glass of water without having to go buy it by the gallon at a store, and be able to take a shower without feeling like we just got out of a pool. If you buy something and are not satisfied with it you may return it and get a refund but our water bills just keep going higher and yetthe water keeps getting worse. The deal Saturday, the town was without water for something that they knew about and had had opportunity to fix and just didn't want to be bothered. If everyone in this town would actually vote for people that cared about what was best instead of just who was their buddy then we might be able to get something accomplished.

Express your concerns with the city council. These are valid points and not too much to ask for. Ask for explanations about the lack of a good system.
As for the fountain sodas..ill drive the extra miles out of town for one...lol

I thought grant money had to be used for specific things? Not just how they saw fit. Ask in a city council meeting how the grant money is to be used. The accounting part should be open to the public to view.

The grant money was for the sidewalks. It had nothing to do with the water.
