Sheriff: 3 children drown as car goes in Ark. lake

Three children died early Sunday morning when the car they were in drove straight into a man-made lake, authorities said. Arkansas State Police investigators and sheriff's deputies questioned the children's mother about what happened just after 3:30 a.m., when she apparently drove down an old state highway that dead-ends into the gunmetal blue waters of Brewer Lake. Conway County Sheriff Mike Smith declined to immediately identify the children, ages 2, 7 and 8, or their 26-year-old mother.

What is the matter with most of you? The lady just lost her 3 babies and people are saying horrible things. It was an accident that could of happened to anyone. Her crime is that she probably didn't have a sense of direction. She may of had a GPS with an outdated map that lead her toward the lake. She will suffer for the rest of her life. Why are people so eager to think the worst? Shame on you for jumping to conclusions.

This is so sad, my heart weeps for the family of these little boys. The only comfort can come from knowining that they are with our loving Lord and Savior.

What in the world was a mother out at that time of morning with 3 precious children. mothers grow up!!!!!!!!!! You had them, now stop partying and take care of your children. Hug them more, fuss at them less and thank God you have them.They could be like these 3 little gone!!!!!
