Once again, we are faced with no real choices that can win. Vote for the Democrats and they will continue to run 2 of the 3 branches of government and who knows where they will go. Vote for the Republican and the Senate will be a stalemate, which does no one any good. I find it hard to vote for a man like Vitter because of his lack of morals. If he will not honor his marriage vows and lies to his wife, he will lie to me also. By default, it looks like I will vote against Vitter and not vote for Melancon. The others have no chance. God help us.
Supreme court is no republic and congress is made of 2 hoses so u can't say 2/3 dumb azz remember legislative branch house of representatives and senate. So that just 1 branch

The local Cub Scouts could do a better job than the present batch of thieves.

Or, Kindergarten Class of 2011 could do quite a lot better.

Vitter is the best canidate money can buy!

Washington, D.C.– The battle to be named CREW’s first Scoundrel of the Month came down to a race between two johns. In the end, Louisiana’s morally and ethically challenged Sen. David Vitter (R-LA) triumphed over Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) in the race to Washington’s bottom. Former Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) also earned a dishonorable mention from the online electorate.

“Senator Vitter graduated from soliciting prostitutes in the shadows, to bribery in broad daylight. It’s no wonder he was crowned Scoundrel of the Month,” said CREW Executive Director Melanie Sloan.“This is not to discount the despicable behavior of the other worthy nominees. This bipartisan bunch could all stake a claim for their own place in CREW’s hall of shame. But, to paraphrase Chicago Cubs fans around the world, there’s always next month.”

no one, it is amazing to me that people waste their time voting in these elections which only represent special clicks which include all but the productive working classes, the only true thing which would start effective change in this land is all good men refrain from voting, cancel their registration, it would be cominsurate to the governments conducting a war but nobody came. it is time for an awakining of the populace. if they have the election and the only votes cast are those of the government body, who can they claim to represent. They don t represent us and never have. Good peoplel need to let them know we have had it with their s@@t. Good people should not have to cower in their homes in this state of anarchy, fear travel down the road expecting government police to further rob them of their hard labor, and then hand another half over at the end of the year to their taxing bodies so the theives will be well fed, medicated and housed at the expense of the working class.

they are all scum, as the old saying, cream and scum always float to the top. the problem is people are tolerating being controlle from the top, and of course the top is deplorably corrupted. If people go to cash payments the corrupt government would colaspe in short time. Then we can rebuild an honest system the has the interst of the good and proper

I disagree, what doesn’t kill you only makes you stronger, and a really big foot should teach you a valuable lesson. Don’t forget to vote this Saturday!

Well since the NEXT election for a Senator from Louisiana is in 2014, for Mary Landrieu's seat, I imagine Bobby Jindal will be the leading candidate to replace her.

Please, God, no more Jindal. Our state can't afford his deep cuts, deep governmental damage any more.
And Vitter ... can't vote for him. He campaigned on faith and family values (even used his family in his campaign commercials) and has never been sincere.
If you don't get those things right, well, I don't want you serving me.

What do YOU do when you don't have enough money to pay all your bills each month? Me, I trim my budget and eliminate the least needed items. Would you rather your taxes be raised to fund all those government projects? Not me. I pay plenty right now. I do agree with you on Vitter however.
