Who sells the best boudin in town nowadays. I used to buy from Meche's years ago, but I've been away from home too long.

I agree they have the best boudin but Texaco in Opelousas has everyone beat when it comes to cracklin.

By far best boudin is from Bellard's in Eunice. Best cracklin from a small out of the way store between Breaux Bridge and Parks. I'll post the name when I can remember or make a phone call.

The best boudin in Opelousas is at Billy's Boudin and Cracklins. They sell two kinds of boudin---Billy's recipe and Ray's recipe. I think Billy's recipe is the best, but you will not be disappointed with either one.

I am disappointed this forum didnt attract more boudin loving, life loving, good ole cajun folks interacting with each other in a wonderful cajun way. So, here is more to think about in the way we love our boudin chefs. Check out this website and enjoy our love of life. http://www.boudinlink.com/

Soprano's in Livonia is pretty good. Being in the military and outside the state for 20years, we like trying multiple flavors. I'll be stopping in on the places you all have mentioned.

Don's off I-49 in Carencro. Their cracklin is really, really good. Then the last few times I went there they were hot. I waited for them to come out the pot. I went at the right time. But hot or cold they are great.
