BTW you do have very good police in Sweetwater but it is in need of a 100% political firing.

Sweetwater needs to fire all its highly paid, useless commissioners.

Forgot how many they have.

There are alot of good officers there as well. What tends to occur is the nepotism ( within smaller departments) that brings a few losers ( who were bounced out of other departments) over to their department. Losers need to be decertified if it is warranted. The ability to take someone's freedom away is monumental. it should not fall into the hands of fools.

I agree there are good cops but I would NOT say that about the Miami Cuban politicians whose zero standards have enabled this problem.

I just got 2 tickets from a Sweetwater cop right in front of the Dolphin Mall. It was obviously a speed trap as he was standing right before the speed limit sign without his vehicle (motorcyle probably) in sight. He pulled me and another vehicle over and gave us both tickets. He gave me a extra ticket for not having my registration in the vehicle. It kind of burns me that he couldn't let that one slide. As far as there being "good officers" working for Sweetwater PD I have yet to hear about any and I have been working in this area for almost 20 years now. I know that being a police officer is challenging but you don't have to act like a robot and not show some empathy to the generally law abiding citizens that you are supposed to serve.

Sweetwater Police Dept makes = Alphonse Gabriel "Al" Capone (January 17, 1899 – January 25, 1947) was an American gangster who led a Prohibition-era crime syndicate. The Chicago Outfit, which subsequently became known as the "Capones", was dedicated to smuggling and bootlegging liquor, and other illegal activities such as prostitution, in Chicago from the early 1920s to 1931.====LOOK LIKE A KID you can include Hialeah PD and City of Miami PD
