Henry County is having an excellent season under Joe Gaddis. I knew the minute he became head coach, Patriot fortunes would rise! The Patriots are talented and are just winning over every one. They are explosive and have even improved offensively since their whipping of Clarksville Northwest..., one I witnessed! Go Patriots, hopefully to being the winner of the Class 4-A football title!

I was wondering if the TSSAA really looks into the appeals for an ejection of a football player or just goes on the official's say so. Seems sad that one player can get by with provoking another after the play is over and grabbing throat, arms and knee pads to prevent the tackler from getting up and when he is trying for the third time to shake loose is ejected. The appeals board must be blind because I have revewed the tape in slow motion and it is clearly evident that the player accused of kicking is mearly trying to get loose from this menace that is mad about getting tackled. I personally would be ashamed of being any part of that poor decision. Lets be honest and admit our mistakes ref.

Has anyone considered, espeacialy during playoffs ,placing a fine to the team and/or the player and/or the referee( not calling it) for intentional harm of a player during or after a play? Half of the fine would go to the offened school and the other half go to the tssaa. I bet if you hit people involved in there pocket alot of the intentional injuries would come to a halt. Making people involve with the injury be accountable.
