This campaign statement is erroneous on many levels, check into this incumbents past and present "service". His service is to himself. In these hard times he buys season ticket to the Angels at a cost of over $ 7,000.00 and bills it as an "office expense". It can be clearly seen on his 460 form filed 1/2008. He and his office minions have also been sued many, many times since he was Appointed to this office, from his BOS seat just before the late 1990's corruption scandal. Do your research, then vote for Ensen Mason, and put ethics and fiscal responsibility back in the San Bernardino County Auditor Controller's office. Remember these are yor tax dollars.

I have also seen the misuse of the office. His "special projects" person, DeAna Hernandez Thompson used the county facilities and her county time to arrange political golf tournies and other events. She was not caught like Aleman in the Assessor. This politician feels like he has a different set of laws that apply to him. Did he mention the many lawsuits against his office for hostile work environment? Some customer service. I also observed a 24 hour shredder installed at the Recorders office fileroom just before the corruption scandal was publicized, and just before the authorities came in. We wondered why? the neglected file room was job 1 when Larry was appointed to this office from his good old boys at the Board of Supervisors. Did I mention, he left vacated his seat to assume this lowly position? Truth is always stranger than fiction.

What a bunch of self-serving manure. Larry Walker is another in a long line of corrupt San Bernardino County politicians. He has cost the county untold millions throughout his time as Auditor-Controller/Recorder.

Walker is another Bill Postmus. In fact, the Board of Supervisors had recently voted to change county law to strip three of the offices that Walker was in charge: the Recorder's Office, the Clerk's Office and the county Archives and Records department. It's no surprise, these exact three offices were being run into the ground by Walker's crony, De Ana Thompson. Because of her, the county is involved in several lawsuits, and there's more suits pending. Hey Walker, how can you explain putting your buddy, De Ana, at the position of Chief Deputy without any college degree, no managerial experience, no prior county supervising experience? Walker even went so far as to change the official job description to drop the degree requirement for a Chief Deputy position over three large county departments! Pathetic.

Walker has the nerve to write above; "We have received annual awards for outstanding financial reporting". If you're winning all these awards, Walker, why did you get so many findings in your federal grant audit? Walker did such a fine job, the entire county is now considered a "high risk" because of major audit findings in Walker's latest Single Audit of federal funds. In fact, some of those findings were repeated findings from several years of audits, and they should have been corrected under Walker's care. Now, Walker has cost the county even more thousands of dollars because the raised high-risk level requires additional audits, and the county is at risk of losing nearly $1 billion in federal funds!!!

It's time for the people of San Bernardino County to send this bum home. I think over 30 years of pulling down a public salary is enough, especially when Walker is costing the county millions of dollars with his cronyism and piss-poor management.

It wasn't that long ago, 1976, that San Bernardino had a sign on Waterman Ave., north of Hospitality Lane, proclaiming it "All-American City". Fast forward to 2010, now thanks to our Board of Supervisors and their "good old boys" like Larry Walker, San Bernardino is a ghetto in need of major renewal. It's a city without hope. WE NEED LEADERS to restore and renew the city and surrounding county. You have the POWER, You have the VOTE. Throw out the bums like Larry Walker. These politicians will survive, out of office, they are the only ones who have prospered all these years. They have given themselves raise after raise. Now it's time for them to do the work, outside of government. Karma is Good.

Larry Walker is lacking the minimum qualifications for this hyper responsible position of trust. A vote for Larry Walker,is a vote to see our money go into his pockets.
He paid $7,000.00 for season tickets to the Angels baseball, put it on his 460 form as an "office expense" During these tough economic times, I could think of a better use for my tax dollars.
Guess the crooks just hide in plain sight in this corrupt county.
Vote for Ensen Mason, a fiscal conservative, someone you can trust, and is fully qualified for the position of Auditor-Controller.

Liar Walker, would be the obvious choice for this corrupt county.
Instead, help turn this county around, Please cast your vote for Ensen Mason, the clear ethical choice. The Auditor/Controller/Treasurer/T ax Collector is the most important office in the county.
If you do not vote for Ensen Mason, you are voting in favor of the corruption continuing, a waste of our hard-earned tax money going into the corrupt politicians pockets via "special projects" and "special project managers".
We are one of the richest counties in the continental US. We are one of the poorest in social values. VOTE THE BUMS OUT.

Vote out all long term incumbents...this County has been run by incompetents too long, which has attracted the Burum Buzzards to swoop in and ruin what's left of this aging outpost. All opportunity and potential for the little guy has been ravaged and plundered. This is no exaggeration.

I am so disappointed with the voters in San Bernardino County, they deserve what they voted for. More corruption stories to come. I wonder if all the voters work in media, job security for the papers. I wish my taxes went to upstanding politicians. Wishes are fairy tales, on with the corruption in San Bernardino.
With Larry Walker at the helm of the Treasurer/Tax Collector and the oversight committee Auditor/Controller, you can be sure to read more about it in the papers.

RE: Indicted Neil Derry, San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors tells to the people: "But we wonít raise your taxes because: One, we canít without the public voting on it and...."
THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE RESPONSE:
Currently, there is a war launched by the People against the S.B. County Assessor and his corrupted unlicensed Appraiser, re-assessing real property over 400%, thus a massive tax increase.
Also, unprecedented nasty responses by the Countyís Department of Risk Management, telling the People, basically: We Decide and We Rule and you the People Obey. Also you the People want to sue the County, co ahead.
Who in hell those Government Officials think they are. They want their wishes, they got it. People will fight to the end.
Prop 13A is not working and therefore....... revolt, until the last drop of blood .
We do nothing as of date, exept endlessly litigate and get the hell out of this County and State

Unbelievable- Larry Liar Walker is running for Senate, DO NOT VOTE for this. Put your foot down, once and for all, send him packing, along with long-time consort-DeAna Thompson-who by the way just got her walking papers last week.
We do not need another politician working for himself.
Elect a person with proven success, NORMA TORRES will work for YOU
