I was wondering if anyone has any current information on Kathy Tidmore, the one charged with captial murder of an old man in Oneonta July 2007. I would like to know if she is still in Blount County jail or where she is. Has a trail date been set or has she pleaded out. Any information would be great.

Kathy was in prison but has been moved back to the Blount County Jail. Her trial is coming up in June. She is no longer being tried for capital murder. She is sure to get away with murder! Mr. Holston is the "old man" she killed.

She is guilty. She slept with the old man for $20 and when he did not pay her, she accidentally stabbed him 45 times.

She plead guilty to capital murder on June 11, 2009 in Blount County Court. The record reflects 67 stab wounds with several different weapons. It is all public record if you will just go to the court house.

No Kathy was not charged with capital murder. It is all over so this can all come to an end. Drugs play a dirty part in our world today and cause a lot of heart ache, so if you are a drug user please get help. AOL

She did plead guilty! I was in the courtroom when she plead guilty. I heard her say "Guilty", I also heard the jusge say that she was sentenced to life in prison. Anyone that wants to know the TRUTH can easily contact the courthouse but my suspicion is that most people just wanna spread lies. It is a bad enough situation without people having to add abunch of made up junk to it.

You are so right it is so sad that people make up lies and add a bunch of junk to what they think is the truth, so why don't we drop the subject and talk about the weather, its so pretty just thin of all those cold winter days we have had, no take that to the court house and look up all that info that you are telling people they can find, better still you look it up and post it for all of to read and we wont have to do it outselfs.

the truth of what happen is much worse than anything that was posted on here. I agree it doesn't have to be posted for all to read anyone wanting to know details can go to courthouse and find out more. Before anyone gets started with who are you and its none of anyones business just don't start, it became everyones business once it happen. I just was curious as to what happen to Kathy and when I pray for her and her son and the family of Mr. Holston all concerned I would know how to direct my prayer request. I know that this is hard for all involved...I am glad to see her family still has her back and hope that see will find peace in knowing that she still has her family and God! I am sorry that after all she has been through in her life that this is how life has turned out for her.

I think its time to close this book ! Both families have suffered enough. Kathy was no saint and Mr. Holston wasent either. Now take that to the courthouse!!!!!!!!!!

Everyone is so touchy about going to the courthouse. I was just stating that the truth is out there if you really want to know.

Lots of people have problems in this place. Judge not lest ye be judged. Folks here want to play judge jury and executioner.
The lady got her sentence already, she will pay her debt. Maybe if we pray for her she will find her peace. And I hope all of you do as well. My heart goes out to her family as well as the family of the victim. But I have a feeling she was a victim as well.
