If anyone is interested in buying some meat from capital meats i know a salesman. They sell different types of meats. Their steaks and burgers are delicious. The best ive ever had. The steak is very tender. Plus its gurantee for a year. It comes in large variety boxes. The prices are cheaper than retail grocery stores for the amount you get and the quality is better. Each item is indivually wrapped and vacumn sealed.

There meat is horrible. I bought some once and they had ran out of steaks and promissed to return but never did. I also could not get in touch with them to complain.

You must be thinking of a different place. They have better meat than any store around here. They have a website with a phone number also. All you have to do is google it and it shows up. Not difficult at all.

i've bought meat from them several times, and it's not the best. not horrible, but not worth the prices they are charging. you can get you own cuts at iga or helenwood foods for the same price. the burgers are awful.... and their salesmen are very pushy. charged my debit card for stuff i didn't order. took awhile to get it all straightened out.

Well the last thing anyone wants is to pull up to a gas pump and some smarty pants kid try to force you into buying meat. We have all kinds of places to buy good fresh meat. Geez people.

Yes our local stores have excellent and delicious meat if you like meat that is tough and lacks all flavor. Half of is it brown that the stores have out on display. Thats not my idea of fresh at all. People around here just dont know what good is. We over pay for nasty meat at local stores and dont mind at all.

Are you saying buying meat out of a beatup old truck with a deepfreeze strapped in the bed is a bad idea?

I bought for these guys several times and liked it but the last time I bought I spent $230 on steaks and chicken get the meat in the house and the box the girl didn't open all of it was freezer burnt and brown make that two boxes. Never did like the chicken but she said oh yea the other chicken we used to get wasnt to good but we r getting our chicken from a new place it is so good so I thought I would try it well IT SUCKED. So called her back no more than 15 min after she left told her about the freezer burnt meat said she would be by the next day to replace it never did come by so I tried the chicken it was awful called and told her about that said I could trade it or steak. They have on the box 100% money back guarantee, well that all happened back in October I have called so many numbers talked to so called supervisors said they would give me my money back have yet to see it. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE yea a few of their steaks r good maybe two but that is I and if u are not satisfied they will not honor their product like they say. I even emailed corporate never got a response I have called offices in Knoxville middle tn and Virginia and still nothing. I am now reporting them to the BBB I have gave them plenty of chances to make this right they haven't so I am taking further action.

why would i need to research something i've already tried? seems like you're probably one of the scammers since you can't stand to let someone give their own personal experience. Restaurant quality meat is never frozen for one.. freezing meat breaks down the cells and makes the meat tough.

How to Buy MEAT
Research
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)
Has some great educational TIPS!

Perhaps the AGRICULTURE office in the COURT building at Huntsville has som literature or HINTS to help non VEGANS enjoy better MEAT buying & cooking & eating?

Our taxes pay for this service - Do we Use it?

Wow another logical mr. know it all, school.101 now in session. No meat is fresh it is aged. Lesson two lets ship beef from Argentina the mid west to east and west coast set it out in our fine stores for days. Oh without freezing it!.Check this out most of your resteraunts ship.in frozen meat. Appleseed Ruby Tuesdays, Aubreys etc. Your local grocer can store it in his freezer for 90.days before he hast to put it out,.and your kids schools.do the same, and they.do it with pink slime.

So I guess this would be school 102 - actually these RESTAURANTS ship in frozen chicken and seafood, not frozen beef. Can you tell the difference between frozen and aged beef? I can :).. because guess what.. I've actually worked at APPLEBEES and RUBY TUESDAY!
I prefer AGED beef to fresh any day. It is more tender and has better flavor. Aged beef takes on a dark brown color and a slight stench. Most people consider this ruined.. but this is aged.
