Some people on here simply amaze me. A general comment was made in comfort, then someone else gets on here and because a name was not mentioned they have to try and one up the first poster, then someone else gets on here and trys to one up the second person. We all get it. Malcolm King was fatally injured in an auto accident. His wife, JEWEL KING, passed the same way in an earlier accident. All anyone was offering was comfort. I do not think to overlook the name of the wife of Malcolm King is something to be arguing about right now. Right now the family is dealing with this loss. Word police, feeling counselor, heart breaker, no matter how you want to spin it. This whole thing is about someone leaving this earth as the result of an auto accident. In this case, the person is Malcolm King. May the King family and friends be held in the comfort of God's arms and love. God bless you.

Maybe they just meant that in the wreck his wife passed away in all the attention was focused on the four cheerleaders and hardly any mention of the people in the vehicle hit by the cheerleaders. That was my take on it. I still find it odd there are no crosses for Mrs. King or the baby that died there as well. Only for the girls.

I personally do not want to hear about the tragedy of my stepfather on Hot Topics. I feel like everyone who made a comment was completely disrespecting his life. Obviously some people were not raised with values and morals, put raised with internet access.

Clearly you guys were close considering you just found out today on topix. I'm sorry to hear about your close family member that you must have talked to everyday. Clearly everybody on here was disrespecting him by mentioning his holy name. Maybe he should get a statue in front of the food court?
We were close and did talk everyday! To see disrespectful comments about anyones family is disrespectful thank God I work for law enforcement services and your ip address can be traced and Internet crime is still a crime! Thanks for your comments hopefully it will lead to your prosecution. You should think about how your family would feel to read something about a wreck that is often not released to family members.

I would just like to say that Malcom King was a good friend of mine & I will miss him. He was a good man & had a heart of gold. I promise you if he had lived through the accident he would have been more worried for Melissa Reed than he would have been for himself. Please join me & let's say a prayer for the King family & the Reed family

Yes you do sound rude. Someone was on here trying to say something good for a change and instead you made into something bad. You could have worded your post another way and it would not have been so harsh. You could have said something like, Malcolm King was the husband of Jewel King who was also taken from us in an auto accident a short time ago. It is sad for us, but great for them as they are now back together in heaven.
That was just an example of what you could have said.
Believe it or not, words DO HURT!
You must have known Malcom well!

Emotions run high especially during a loss like this. I can understand where most of these statements are coming from. I did know Malcolm and Jewel as did alot of people. I bet they are in heaven celebrating as it has already been said. They were both good people. I can understand how people are letting their emotions get the best of them right now. The blame game has got to stop. Pray for those affected by this accident and quit worrying about about who said what. Somethings are just taken different than how they are intended when emotions are running high. I pray for comfort for all.

Typical misinformed Topix post. You're aware that those crosses are placed by the families, right? Which means the girls' parents chose to place those crosses there and the family of Mrs. King has chosen not to. There's nothing odd about it.
