thank you! I'm looking for more of a 'backyard, barn type' location. Any ideas there?

Maybe Dr. Coffey or the Kline Stables might let you use their barnyard settings, but don't know if the smell would get ya or not. Guess it would depend on which way the wind was a blowin.

Maybe the stables setting at Bandy Creek Visitors Center? Reception at the porch house? Check out www.nps.gov/biso for all things Big South Fork, including the Blevins farm.

Might check www.historicrugby.org ( or.com ) site, too. The little 1800's historic chapel there and fellowship hall (The Friendly House), in case of rain. Harrow Road Cafe there also has a reception type room/caters events.

Last I knew, they only let people of the Episcopalian religion be married there, since that's what kind of church it is. It would be a beautiful place tho.
