It WASN'T on Channel 4. It was on Channel 5! I would know because my sister and I use to record it every week. I may even have it still on tape somewhere. It was a really informative show and was enjoyable to watch. My aunt use to watch it and called in allot. It wasn't just for teenagers, it was for everybody. They covered allot of topics.
Is Ch. 5 MBR-TV in Oneida?

I'm not sure exactly where their office is at but I think it is in Huntsville. Channel 4 is on Pine Hill in Oneida.

It is your right to watch whtever you want to watch. I really dont see any christians stopping you either. Another thing you said is that you dont want "church people" to dictate what you watch. well that makes no since to me. Who would make you watch anything you dont want to watch? You got your remote, in your own home, its up to you what you re watching. If you dont like it, theres a button on that remote that changes the channel. Try using it. click away!!! Some people do enjoy watching those programs, some people young and old are disabled and cant go to church and thats the only church they get. Try having some respect for them and think of them and their needs sometimes. Not meaning any disrespect to anyone and their beliefs, but no need to get on here and put the "church people" down. We are all responsible for our own lives, and if we chose to go to church thats our right, just as it is yours not to go.
Forgive me if I stepped on your Holier than Thou toes! I'm just saying since churches seem to dominate on the channels they have the power to censor what else will be shown. All they have to do "and probably do it" is to threaten the channels they will leave taking their money with them. I respect your opinion. Maybe you need to learn a little respect yourself. What about a tv show about having respect & tolerance for all religions.

I do have respect for people. I wasnt the one talking about the christians and saying that we live in the Bible Belt and would be stoned to death by them if something didnt go their way. I am pretty sure you were the one thats throwing stones. beside i am also pretty sure that if you came up with something for the teens to do and had money to pay to be on the air, i wouldnt think anyone would try and get it taken off. We all agree that teens need something to do in Scott Co. By the way if I offended anyone in my last post I am Sorry. May God Bless each and Everyone.

Someone needs to be honest here! Most of the shows that they had on channel 5 that wasn't church related was done by rejects. Example; Dr.Z and After midnight. Live connection was way too GAY supportive for me! I think a gay guy even help host the show. The female host would had been more entertaining if she would had just shut her mouth and done the show naked. She looked good but dam that mouth got on my nerves.

STFU!! Channel 5 is the best by far! Dr. Z was awesome and so was Live Connection. I don't know about After Midnight because I never had a chance to watch it.

I don't watch much stuff from our local tv stations because there just isn't anything on for my age. My gran watches the church programs but I think they need something for a younger audience.
I like chan 4 better than chan 5 because they seem to be a little more hip-modern than the other. But I wish chan 4 would have a show of some kind for teenagers. Chan 5 just seems too uptight for anything like that. What do you guys think? Any ideas for a good show for teens?
The last time that I remember something was aimed towards a younger audience, was about 10 years or so ago. Channel 5, I think it was, had a call in show called Teen Talk, hosted by 2 high school girls, and it bombed badly. I doubt the local stations will get any more complex than call in shows, gospel singing, & local sports.

There are many kid & teen friendly programs on the more mainstream networks. Just as long as parents are actually parents, and set the example for their children, rather than blaming their failed parenting on television for "brainwashing" and "corrupting" their children.

y would we want advice from another teen? that is just stoopid! those girls probably had questions and needed advice also. i can ask my friends stuff and they are just as clueless as me. Sides, it probably bombed cuz of the peeps hosting it. it takes a certain kinda person to do stuff like that.

I agree. It takes life experiences to be able to give advice. Teens have no "issues" outside of home life and high school, those "issues" make Topix & Myspace a hit, but not a call in show. Sorry Channel 5, epic fail. My personal opinion: Channels 4 & 5 are God-awful. Though, what keeps me guessing is: Why would people rather sit at home and watch church services/singing on TV rather than go to church and see/hear it? I guess it's more convenient for the people of Scott County to indulge in a food stamp bought meal, and suck on a welfare bought cigarette while still feeling part of a church. Rejoice ye couch potato congregation, for thow are not ignorant of God's word, just too lazy to feel the spirit with your bothers and sisters in God's house.

You have got to be kidding me! This is a dispute that you do not want to start. If you are talking about the cousins that I think you are talking about then those girls are very close. I worked down there several years ago for a very short time and I know both of the young ladies. They are nice people.

Both girls are very attractive. I find the older one more appealing to the eyes but that's just my opinion. I said my piece now I am off to work. Good day to you all!

Sounds good to me! We shall call it the "Nekid hottie show." We'd have our very own Playboy call in show.

I'm all for it but how can we talk channel 5 into doing it? They would definitely have me as a new viewer.
