Adultery, Cheating, Affairs, etc.
I read alot about this going on everyday. Especially here on topix.
Isnít here a written law against that? I am not referring to the Biblical 10 commandments, cause we all know it is against them. I am talking about a criminal charge by the law of the land. If so, why arenít people being charged for it. What is the penalty?

I know it is against the Bible, but as gar as still being a law on the books...I dont know...but if it is...there are a whole bunch of folks that need to be in jail. :P

I'm not an attorney so can not know too much about criminal law; But do know that the U. S. Supreme Court has held that any and all sexual activity between CONSENTING adults, in private, is NOT criminal!
Law enforcement personnel would do well to CONTINUALLY enforce to the highest degree possible acts of criminality against children and all RAPISTS!
Especially henious are CRIMES of INCEST and Rape of the INFIRM!

Jimmy Carter, while President, Confessed to Adultery (in his thoughts!)
Some MUSLIM countries practice Stoning for Adultery, a slow form of execution!
Christ told of an impending Stoning where the crowd was told:ďLet he who is with out sin cast the first stone!Ē
I confess; If thoughts are equal to the deed,
- How about you?

I don;t know if it is true, but Ive always heard that if someone commits adultry then the other spouse can go down to the court house and have it filed that the unfaithful spouse cheated, ( it suppose it make it harder on the other person to get a marriage licences) and this way the person marrying the cheater knows about their cheating past. But like I said Idk if it is true or not.

Hey...maybe this is something that Scott County should put back in the books and start enforcing. Just think, if there was a fine of say just $100 for each act of adultery that can be proven, then all of Scott County's money troubles would be over. They say this is the Bible Belt. hogwash! This is As the World Turns.:)

Wonder if we could propose that idea to the county mayor and board. That industrial recruiter they want so bad would be paid for in no time. LOL

Hey while we are at it lets make a $100 dollar fine for everyone who libels (or bares false witness against their neighbor) someone on topix. talk abou curing the money woes of the county and it would kill this stupid site as well. Since our law enforcement doesnt seem to have anything important to do. Right?

Making fun of someone that spells incorrectly is worse than the person that spells incorrectly. Not everyone spells the best in the world, but maybe they can do some things better than the best speller that won every spelling bee k~12. Be kind to everyone. Who knows this person might be the good samaritan that saves your life tomorrow. But, because they can't spell as good as you can, will you be asking him/her if she can spell or not before he/she saves your life? I think not. I'd hate to be mean to people. I love everyone~even you. God loves you.

Finally someone with brains. I never could spell, but I have helped a lot of people. Incidentally, I do have an education, just did horrible in Language Arts.

Once a cheater always a cheater. The same people would be paying the fines over and over again. I agree that it would be a great income for the county. In another state it is a $500 fine and/or 6 months on jail. It would also stop alot of these people cheating. A divorce in the long run would be cheaper.

That would defeat the purpose of "cheating." Most people cheat for the thrill of it. I bet it wouldn't be as exciting to get a divorce and then go back to the person you were cheating with.

it hurts my heart to hear of infidelity(sp?)i do not understand how people can hurt those they claim to care about. just f'n leave cuz that will hurt a whole lot less and i know this, i have been there...more than once! i will not however, sit here and say i have never done it, i have, but sadly for revenge bc i had been cheated on(and goodness knows i may not b a beauty queen but lord knows i'm at least average and she was literally a 15 yr older than him drug ho....not playin)but anyway does that make it right? nope!! did it make me feel better?? umm for about a 10 seconds then no it did not,it made me feel as skanky as she was and i am so much beyond that stuff. i left him after that...with my head hung tho bc the way i handled it. will not happen again, promised myself that. i taught myself a lesson! lol
