i totally agree theses men and women are crazy it usually don't last with the the younger one looses interest in them and move on the just got to see for them self they are not better when older alwasys

Before my relationship with my boyfriend evolved into a serious one, he's only a year older than me, I met a couple older men that interested me. I think it was because of their personality and knowledge. But I always got my head back to the right place and didn't let it lead into sex. Right now I can't imagine being with anyone but my boyfriend, so I'm glad I didn't get involved in some kind of complicated relationship with someone twice my age.

It looks to me that one of the things which would cement a relationship and make a marriage last is growing old ‘together’ at the same time. I think that’s important.

Exactly. I was married to a man who developed a drug problem. Thru that I realized a lot of men my age are dealing with the same issues. So I choose older men because they have accomplished things in their lives, are stable and have proven to take of people they care about.

me personally i like the older men cause guys my age are immature jerks & if you truly love some one age is just a number it should matter if there is 20 days or 20 yrs between your age it all depends on how you feel about the person

I know from my own personal experience that eventually the age difference will become a problem. I am in a relationship with a older man and the first couple of years were great, but I am now starting to see things that people tried to warn me about before. I still love him but the differences are starting to make me feel unhappy with the relationship. He doesn't want to do anything or go anywhere, he is very set in his ways and stubborn. We both work but he feels that the house work is womens work. I know in a traditional family that is how it works but I feel that when both work that it should be half and half. Anyways, I would just like to tell young women to think twice before jumping into a relationship like this.

Ok let me tell you a story. I was married to a man two months younger than me and we were divorced because he was cheating and had been living a double live for several years.(He had a traveling job so he hid it well).
I am now married to man that is 16 years my senior. Been with him almost 5 years. He is good to me and my children. He had two boys and I had two boys. But if you ask us we have have 4 boys and we will fight for all of them not to mention the grandchildren.
Now, my parents were 15 years age difference. They were married for 60 years.
Age is just a number it is the compatiablty, love, and effort you put forth that matters.(And making sure that neither is already married!!!!)
It is like the old saying...don't judge a book by its cover....

Probably the best thing that could have happened was for him to get out of the picture all together....You found out before he was an active part of your child's life and not only was your heart broken but your child's as well...Have your child and have him give up his rights...DO NOT let him dictate to you anything!!!!

Smart thing to do (in my opinion) would be to move on with your life and raise your child to be the best they can be...treat them right from wrong and be the best supporting mother you can be...There is an old saying..."Anyone can make a baby, but it takes someone special to be a Daddy." That is the truth no matter how it is put...somewhere out there...there is a man that will love you and your child and will treat you both as you should be treated.
Just remember one thing...the day you find this guy and you do say I do...it is not just you saying I do...it is you and your child because this man will be the "Daddy" from that point on...I wish you luck and pray that God will help you and guide you through each day.

thank u so much im glad to here someone is praying for me.and i dont think ima ever find a guy who loves me and would take care of my 2 lil gurls like he was the father. i have a 3 yr old and her dad left mr when i was 8 months pregnant wit her. and hes never laid a eye on her but of course he is n prison now 4 murder and thats how we seperated is the cops caught him. and it hurt so bad when we got seperated cuz i really luved this guy and i was 15 when this happened but i was wanting a family then to. now i have this one saying he wished the baby im packing would die and for 4 years ive been wanting a family so bad and when i got pregnant wit this one i was so happy no one knows how i felt. i was thinkin now i get what i ve been wanting so bad and from the way he talked he was wanting her to and now im stuck heart broken. i really thought i was gonna get to have a family but its never gonna happen. id give nething to have this man lay beside my daughter and love her like a good dad would, just for one day just to know how great it feels but now that he said he wanted her dead i couldnt even let him even c a pic of her. i wish god would answermy prayers and send that man into my life and kids life. my kids deserve better then this and i cant give them better. this guy would tell my baby goodnight everynight n tell her he loved her. he actually had me believing that he loved us and was gonna care for us. drugs ruined him and my dream but thanx for praying for me and the advice
