How do u mean bought Armstrong? The only part of Armstrong up for sale was the building on Industral Lane. The East Plant is still running daily and using the former Strip Mill building to rip lumber for their production. I would love to have jobs come into Scott co. but we are in the middle of nowhere with little access to quick in and outs for major company production. That's just the truth. And what jobs that we might get will pay next to nothing.

Well, there's nothing in the news about this. Unfortunately, this is most likely just a rumor. Too bad it isn't true.

No jobs are coming to the former Armstrong plant. Armstrong owns the property and plants and they will have to be bought out before any other company creates jobs.

Industrial Lane has been sold and is now owned by former high-up, retired from Armstrong. G. T. is the new owner. If you go back about 25 years ( when he was a big player at Hartco) you will figure out who this is. The new company may open soon and if you drive around the plant may just see a few trucks in the back getting ready. Glad to have you back in the building G. T......I have spoken
